Yarra Glen - peaceful retreat, beautiful views.

Yarra-Ley ‘Yarra-Ley’ is a small cattle farm (117 acres) hidden in the hills behind Yarra Glen overlooking the Yarra Valley, 10 minutes from town. To see the property go to @yarra_ley on (Hidden by Airbnb) . I seem to be farming kangaroos, wombats, foxes and deer. Be careful of the kangaroos when driving in, especially at night. Kangaroos have no road sense but there is nothing more special than driving slowly behind a kangaroo hopping down the middle of the road in front of the car or if you are on foot. Don’t try to pass them, just let them hop away. Guests can explore the whole farm if they wish. I shall guide you to your accommodation and be around much of the time to answer any questions or assist you with forgotten items. The Yarra Valley has so much to offer with wineries, good food, the arts, magnificant scenery, fauna and flora. I shall give guests more details. Forget about public transport but remember the tourist railway from Healesville to Tarrawarra and the walking tracks in the area. Ruff, my Kelpie, will bark when you arrive, he is a very good watch dog. Then he will be very happy to socialise with you. However if he is too enthusiastic, he will be sent to his pen.
