Beautiful high set timber home with polished floors, front and back verandas, fully equipped, freshly renovated kitchen and free off street parking space for 2 cars. We have had issues with guests using our house for parties, so if you have any intention of having a party or breaking our house rules in anyway, PLEASE do not book our house! If not...please read on :) This is a beautiful 110 year old renovated high set Queenslander. Back veranda looking out onto private garden. 4 Bed rooms: - King bed in the main room with en-suite - Queen bed in second and third rooms with French doors onto the front veranda - 2 single beds in the fourth bedroom. This house is close to restaurants and public transport and a convenience store. There are fans in every room and air conditioning in the living areas. Please note - there are about 10 stairs from the car park to the house. There are no stairs in the interior and one shower not over a bathtub.. You will have a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, microwave, stove and all pots and pans, cutlery and crockery. You also have a washing machine and 2 car parks off street We live across the road so are available quickly if there are any problems. We are always contactable by phone or through the Airbnb message system. We love this neighbourhood and have lived here for more than 10 years. We have restaurants, cafes and convenience store a few minutes walk away. The supermarket and Southbank are a ten minute walk. You can get to Mater hospital (5 minutes), the Gabba sports ground (10 minutes) and the convention centre (20 minutes) by walking. It's 5 minutes walk to the bus way which gets you quickly into the city and close to the motorway heading north and south. It is a 5 minute walk to the Mater bus stop. From here it's a few minutes to Southbank and the convention centre or 10 minutes to the city. It's also a 10 minutes walk to the Southbank train station or you can be at Park Road train station in 5 minutes. This house is not suitable for parties or events. The neighbours will call either me or the police if noise is excessive after 10pm We have external security cameras to the entrances installed at the house. There are no cameras inside the house.
