Enter from the Street into a large, breakfast and kitchen area. Then proceed upstairs where there are 2 bedrooms, living room and a bathroom. The bathroom is an ensuite to the king bedroom. The washer and dryer are in the utility room just beside the bathroom. Completely redecorated and commercially cleaned from top to bottom. We have opted out of the 72-hour buffer as we steam clean our properties. We can provide extra bedding, a travel cot, children’s utensils and family games on request, during 9-5 office hours for luggage drop off for pre/post check-in. The property is situated at the foot of the Ochil Hills and is adjacent to Murray place bus stance which offers guests ideal commuter links to Stirling/Dunfermline/Alloa/St Andrews/Gleneagles/etc. There is also a supermarket next door to the property It is also in the same street as Sterling mills outlet village and Sterling home stores, offering guests ample retail therapy opportunities. Guests have exclusive access to the entire apartment and rear deck. Our offices are situated 50meters away from this property and we are generally opened from 9-5 Monday to Friday, if guests have queries you can contact us during these hours (hours are varied over lockdown period) The street is a mixture of houses and apartments, which are mostly privately owned. Things to do and see. There are lots of things to do in the local area and surrounding villages, towns and cities. Very close to the property (up to 5 miles +/-): There is a supermarket next door to the property and a range of local stores on the high street (adjacent). Sterling Mills on Moss Road is a large shopping area for Costa Coffee, Home Bargains, Next and a selection of other shops and a café. On the other side of the street is Sterling Homestore for luxury gifts, The Mill Café and The Butterfly Restaurant. Further along the Road from these is The Juniper Bar & Restaurant in Devonside. Or up the hill to Muircot Farm, restaurant and farm shop. In Dollar you have a choice of 2 restaurants and cafes and can visit Castle Campbell. Further along is the Japanese Gardens. It’s about a 30min drive to Falkirk to see the Falkirk Wheel; Helix Park and The Kelpies. In Clackmannanshire there is a tourist route to see many sculptures by the same artist. There is also Alloa Tower and Alloa Town itself (where there is a train station) and Aldo’s Italian Restaurant is one of many there, also Coopers and many more. There are dozens of takeaway food outlets of all types if you can’t be bothered cooking. The area is renowned for its walks and Hill Walks including Alva Glenn and Dollar Beg. You can also hire bikes at the Devon walkway. Gartmorn Damn is another nice place to walk round the reservoir. And of course, there is fishing in the damn and The River Devon (permits may apply). Stirling; Dunfermline; Alloa; Kinross; St Andrews; Linlithgow and many other places are all within comfortable driving distances (around an hour or much less).For fans of Game of Thrones, a tri[ to nearby Culroos. There are 3 local golf courses, and of course a drive to Gleneagles or The Old Course at St Andrews is a must of golf enthusiasts. There are cinemas in Stirling and Alloa; a bowling alley in Stirling; Ice skating; a swimming pool and indoor climbing as well as all the usual sports facilities at The Peak in Stirling and of course Stirling Castle; The Wallace Monument; the site of The Battle of Bannockburn and Stirling Bridge and endless places to visit for those interested in Scottish Culture and History. Stirling University grounds are another pleasant walk and there is a theatre there too. It goes without saying that all of the towns and places I have mentioned have pubs and eateries. I’m sure I will have missed many more attractions, but I just wanted to give you some ideas of what you might do. Murray place bus station, Alloa train station, and plenty to do within walking distance. Prices are due to the need to provide our cleaning staff with PPE. This will go down in the future.
