Ideal for families & small groups, this 2 bedroom cottage (one Queen, two singles), sleeps up to 5 people. A full size trundle bed is available on request. Red Gum Cottage has a large balcony, with panoramic views. Red Gum Cottage is fully self-contained and provides TV/DVD, CD player, microwave, fridge, gas top cooking and BBQ. Air conditioning, a cosy wood fire, electric blankets, crisp freshly laundered linen and guest towels plus complimentary tea and coffee all add to the home comforts. A home away from home Your cottage is set on a 45 acre property, immersed in 25 acres of Jarrah and Marri forest, high above the magical town of Balingup. Cosy and private, family or small group style cottages offer a great way for you and your loved ones to step out of day to day life. It’s a place where parents can relax, and kids can play and learn. The cottages are ‘child safe’ and fully self-contained, with one and two bedroom cottages available for extended family groups. Plenty of possibilities and inspiration for kids to ‘explore’. Your stay can be as action packed or as relaxed you make it. Take an adventure through the sounds and surroundings of beautiful bush land, have fun hand feeding the farm animals, have a sunset picnic at the lookout, and enjoy the wonder and excitement of the Nature Play inspired secret garden – fit for any prince or princess! Guests can access the complete property including 2 lookouts, with spectacular views over Balingup. The cottage is in a private location and privacy is assured. Our rural property overlooks the magical village of Balingup, the famous Old Cheese Factory arts & crafts gallery and the valley of fruit orchards with their changing seasonal colours. Balingup is situated 240kms south of Perth, a comfortable scenic 2 1/2 to 3 hrs drive will find you in the beautiful countryside of the Blackwood River Valley. There's plenty to see and do in Balingup and the surrounding Blackwood River Valley region. We have loads of information, along with hints & tips and local recommendations which we'll share with you once you book. Please note: - We do not allow pets on our property. - Base price is for 1 couple. - Additional person charged at $30 per night, per person. - Infants - there will be an additional charge of $20/night for any infants. Cot and High Chair available on request. You're welcome to join us for morning animal feeding. - Twin share - will incur an additional charge of $20/night. - Min charge for a couple in a 2 bedroom cottage - $265/night - one bedroom cottages available at $235/night.
