Dream Up

Our house is re-built up from an old wooden house of Muong people (an ethnic minority group in Vietnam) with 2 floors in apx 150 meters square, inside a big garden about 1000 meters square included a pond. All of the designs for living are recycle or environment-friendly materials. If you would like to explore the real local life of Vietnamese, we are happy to share. I am a social entrepreneur graduated from Cultural Anthropology and my husband is an architect focusing traditional architecture. We are a couple running a sustainable house and would like to share our space with others. We are promoting eco-lifestyle, learning to live harmoniously with nature and culture in rural areas. So you may have chances to practice the solution of zero-waste in tropical weather. We are interested in Vietnamese traditional handcrafted techniques, so practical workshops are provided in some weekends. Our house is a part of this community that is friendly and connect each other tightly. Neighbours and children visit us often and willing to be your local guiders to explore natures around. Located in a beautiful village that in front of a green and quiet river, there are mountains at the rear of the village. Theses are parts of Van Long Nature Reserve area. Therefore, the landscape and environment are wonderful for nature lovers.
