16th Century Dartmoor Longhouse - Double en suite

Enjoy your stay in this beautiful rural Dartmoor location. Its perfect for those who enjoy peace and quiet, walking, cycling, photography and exploring the moor. We welcome our guests with a choice of teas or filter coffee on arrival. Elegant, comfortable, light and airy double bedroom with en-suite shower, including tea & coffee making facilities. A continental breakfast is included. The double bedroom with en-suite is located up one flight of stairs at the far end of the house. There is tea and coffee making facitlites in the room and wifi. Please be aware that the cobbles surrounding the outside of the house are uneven and can be slippery in winter or wet weather. We are on a farm remotely situated down country lanes, in a very peaceful tranquil area with near access to footpaths and cycle paths across Dartmoor making it perfect for exploring Dartmoor on foot, car or by bike. Our nearest villages are Moretonhampstead, Chagford and Bovey Tracey. The ancient City Exeter is 25min away via car. There are many attractions surrounding us like Drogo Castle, Stone Lane Gardens, Finch Foundry, Fingle Bridge, Haytor, etc. You will need a car to get to attractions and nearby towns. Pick up/drop off service available at cost by prior arrangement. We are the perfect location for walkers, cyclists and photographers, however you will need a car to get to most attractions. We do offer a pick up and drop off service at cost by prior arrangement. Perfect for couples or single travellers wanting the peace and quiet of rural Devon. Babes in arms are welcome, but we do not have a cot. Do feel free to contact us if you want to discuss anything. The access to the property is down narrow lanes and a gravel driveway.
