From the parking-place ( street level) to reach the chalet we will go down a rough path on foot for approximately 20m. A soli 1,5km dallo chalet la famosa tonnara di San Vito dove si trova ampia piattaforma sul mare comoda per la balneazione, ed a 3 km trovate le magnifiche baie dello Zingaro, lo chalet è sito in posizione incantevole sulla scogliera, a picco sul mare , per fare il bagno dovete uscire dalla proprietá e camminare circa 500 metri, dovete essere ottimi nuotatori: in questa baia il mare é stupendo, ma subito molto profondo (No possibile balneazione di fronte lo chalet poiché la scogliera é a picco sul mare). La zona offre tutto ciò che é desiderabile dal punto di vista naturalistico: mare per nuotare, pescare, veleggiare e praticare snorkeling e diving; la montagna di Monte Monaco e di Cofano per il walking e l' arrampicata sportiva; sempre e dovunque vista mozzafiato. La cittadina di San Vito: qua trovate farmacie, supermercati, bar, ristoranti; dista 3,5 km (mm5 in auto) , famosa per la sua immensa spiaggia bianca . L'entrata N dello Zingaro Riserva Naturale è a soli 4 km dallo chalet, qua troverete piccole baie di sassi e mare cristallino All areas are open to guests. The walk to the sea (path not in front of the chalet, but within walking distance from the parking place) is affordable only by fit and dynamic guests, for children notice that the water in the area is very deep. The Chalet is set close to the natural reserve "LO ZINGARO" which is considered to be one of the best natural reserves in Sicily NW. From the chalet, the uncovered private parking is set 25 m away (easy walking distance, wear comfortable shoes). Suitable for beaches lovers as well (4 km away) and for those who enjoy snorkeling or fishing along one of the most beautiful coastlines in Western Sicily. An ideal spot for climbers as well. How to arrive by flight: Tp Birgi airport is set 55 km away; Pa Falcone-Borsellino airport 110 km away; Ct Fontanarossa 315 km away (about 4 h. driving). You will walk along typical shops and local streets market, searching traditional ceramics, as well as baskets and carpets made by the local vegetation " le palmette". In this area stands the charming coastal town of San Vito Lo Capo (3 km from our chalet away, on foot 45 mm ) extending below the mountain called Monaco, closed to the Zingaro natural reserve. This anchanting land, where Archimede taught and Saint Paul peached, was firstly a Greek colony, afterwards a Roman Province, and an Arab Emirate, finally a Norman Kingdom. The marzipan cakes and almond biscuits are here not to be missed. TRAPANI the town where the Arab influence is still p and where you can taste the famous and delicious fishplate particularly COUS-COUS. From Trapani harbor, there are daily connections to the EGADI islands. SALT PANS between Trapani and MARSALA, the views across the shallow salt pans and the old windmills are not to be missed at sunset. From there a fisherman's boat will take you to the ancient PUNIC SITE of MOZIA. The island of FAVIGNANA and LEVANZO are easily accessible, with frequent connections from Trapani and in summertime directly from San Vito Lo Capo.
