Bramble Barn

Bramble Barn is spaciously laid out. The kitchen has an Aga (plus electric oven and gas hob) a large dining area and small sitting area with tv. A generously furnished sitting room with Jet Master fireplace leading down to the family room with large screen TV and Blue Ray DVD player. The double sofa bed is also situated here. There is plenty of wardrobe and drawer space in the house.The main bedroom has a large ensuite and there is a family (Website hidden by Airbnb) for 4 cars.Large enclosed rear garden. Bramble Barn has all the character of a country cottage benefitting from modern and traditional amenities to make your stay extra comfortable. All areas of the house are available for you to enjoy. Each of the 3 rooms downstairs are large enough to accommodate up to 10 guests. The separate TV room and Living room give guests the option of spreading out to enjoy different activities. At the front of the house there is ample space for parking 4 cars. Priston is on a popular route for cyclists and the house has a walled off area at the side where your bikes can be stored. The back garden is clearly fenced off from the driveway and property next door which are not accessible to guests. I live just around the corner so almost always on hand to answer any queries. But there will always be someone at the end of the phone in case of an emergency. Priston village is ideally located – just a 15 minute drive from the centre of Bath with all that the World Heritage Site has to offer and yet is nestled deep in the most beautiful countryside. If it’s a peaceful relaxing time away from it all then Priston is perfect but if you fancy taking part in the many and varied Village celebrations and events then you will be more than welcome to join in. Whether it is the Priston Festival which takes place in September, or the Carol Procession through the candle lit village to meet Father Christmas (who always has presents for every visiting child) or maybe trying your luck at the Annual Duck Race which takes place on New Year’s Day. Just check our Village website for information. Bramble Barn is set in a quiet courtyard opposite the historic church. Step out into miles of public footpaths surrounded by breathtaking views-you are likely to see deer and hares and some lesser spotted birdlife including a deep chested white Barn Owl, kites, a green Woodpecker and a heron. Along with an abundance of wild flowers -maybe even an orchid, walking in this countryside is a sheer delight. Priston also enjoys the luxury of the most spectacular night skies. PRISTON MILL Bramble Barn is within walking distance of this popular wedding venue LOCAL PUBS The Ring O Bells is just a 2 minute walk from the house and serves food Tuesday to Saturday evening and lunch on Sunday. The King William in Tunley-2 miles away has an excellent menu. The Fox and Badger in Wellow-3 milesaway is another pub well worth a visit and is open on a Monday evening.
