If you want to experience Cairo at its best then come here. Our area is very safe, quiet, and packed full of cafes, bars, cultural centers, music venues, and beautiful heritage buildings and close to the Egyptian museum, Old Cairo, and the Nile River. I don't have any problem with unmarried couples :) you are much welcome at my place! Our flat is in a very peaceful and historic area in Cairo. The house is spacious with high ceilings. It is sunny and bright due to the large windows leading out onto the balcony. All of the decor is shabby chic and vintage inspired- I love going to thrift shops and sourcing unique pieces for our flat. There are different spaces in the house for you to socialise, or to have some time alone. The dining room is a place for you to work or eat, and another communal living area leading onto the beautiful balcony. Every morning, you can take your morning coffee there, in the Cairo sun! More details about the facilities in the house: - You will have a large, private room in the house with a king bed and 2 french doors where you can exit to the balcony. Shared amenities : - Washing machine - Kettle - Blender - Toaster - Hairdryer - Speakers - towels -stove/oven -Netflix subscription upon request -Dining table room (can be used as a workspace) -Big balcony for chilling out or if you want to try a mat and have a nice nap and enjoy the start till the sunrise came in the morning and listen to the birds sounds on the tree one of an amazing experience - A very comfortable living room - The shared amenities in the flat : The flat is spacious and has different areas where you can sit on your own when you need to, including the open-plan living room and dining room. There are two comfortable sofas and large dining table and chairs. The sunny balcony is the shining star of the flat- enjoy your morning coffee here in the Cairo sun. The bathroom : We have two shared bathrooms, one with a bath and shower head and another without. We can provide you with a towel and access to a shared hairdryer, shower gel and other similar amenities. The Kitchen: We have a Microwave, coffee machine, kettle for hot water, Fridge, Oven, kitchen utensils. We love to treat our guest like they are in their home so please use whatever you want as we always have a lot of food to share! Our only request is to keep the flat nice and clean. Because we love Nature and the environment: We care about the environment so we are trying as much as possible to reduce plastic use in our home so, in the kitchen, there will be trash for food, other things, and other trash for plastic bottles such as milk bottles. ** please switch off the light when not in use. Thank you :) I love to spend time with my guest, show them around, go to a concert or even cook at home, play music on the balcony at home, we can also go kayaking on the River in Zamalek island, I love also to do crazy things so I am up to any suggestions ;) Cairo is a place which is rich in culture especially in Downtown so here is some recommended places you have to give a visit during your stay in Cairo Things to Do : Culture Wheel by the Nile: where is always different music concert happing so u can go there by walking around 30 mins walk by the River or by 10 mins by taxi Kayaking: You can enjoy hour Kayak experience in the Island with around 10$ Cycling: Cairo its crazy city but we love to cycle and we have an extra bike if you want to borrow during your stay Felucca Riding: you can walk for 10mins till you reach the river and you rent felucca for about 13$ for one hour and enjoy the Nile but so recommended sunset Walking: Garden city has a lot of authentic beautiful building and greens area you can have a nice walk around At night close to our flat there is Room art space you can Enjoy live concerts or if you want to try a very traditional one so go to Makany culture center every Wednesday and Tuesday Bars and clubs there is a few in Garden city but also you can find more varieties in Zamalek which is 10 mins by taxi Opera house: you can enjoy different live concert and theater at the opera house Our building in a very quiet area in Garden city but also is surrounded by different sightseeing you do it by walk and this what recommended to have a very local experience or by metro or taxi and here is some of them : **20 min walk to the Egyptian museum and Islamic Museum **30 mins walk to EL Hussin and khan El Khalili Market and Moez street **10 Mins metro to Old Coptic City **30mins or less by taxi or uber to Pyramids **15 mins walk to Downtown, Old Cairo **20mins walk by River to Zamalek Island **10mins walk to Local Market to buy fresh fruits and vegetables and enjoy walking around We have friends visiting us sometimes and your friends are welcome anytime too.
