Mid Century Modern Unit in Box Hill

My place is a 10 min walk to Box Hill Central and has been very popular with guests moving to Melbourne who want a 'base' to start from until they find something more permanent - from University/Post-grad students to Box Hill hospital connections to mid/longer term Melbourne travellers. Oh, and I have super fast NBN 5Ghz Wifi internet for 4k streaming! Lastly, there is now a super convenient Skybus shuttle service which operates between the Airport & Box Hill Central. A cosy place to call home ... and a special treat for the Modernists and Minimalists among us! Apart from my main bedroom, you are free to use any part of the place you like. If I am expecting guests on any particular night, I'll let you know in advance so we can coordinate. Happy to meet and greet, pass on keys and let you know a little about the area. After that, my work is pretty consuming, so any further interactions (if you desire) would have to happen after work hours. Box Hill is *incredible* - I've lived in the Eastern Suburbs for a few years now but the more I stay here, the more I appreciate all that Box Hill has to offer. Over the past few years, Box Hill has also been designated as Melbourne's second CBD - so you'll see a lot of skyscrapers going up in the main Box Hill centre with plenty of new shops, restaurants and cafes opening up every week. It's a really exciting area to live in. Of course, Asian food in Box Hill can't be beaten - I can make some great recommendations here. Further, this location has easy access to the train, buses and Eastern Freeway. Finally Box Hill Central Shopping Centre and Box Hill Hospital & allied Health practitioners are all within walking distance. For those who are keen, the Eastern Freeway trail is also 2km away - possibly the best kept secret for runners, cyclists and nature lovers. Buses are a 5 min walk, Train is 15 min walk, Eastern Freeway is a 5 minute drive. From time to time I also foster dogs from the local RSPCA, so if you love dogs - this is the perfect AirBnB for you! If you're allergic to dogs, perhaps best to steer clear - even if I don't have a foster dog at the time of your stay, there may still be enough allergens in the environment to trigger you. Would rather you be safe than sorry!
