Beautiful Double Room by the sea near Bristol

We offer a lovely double room in our beautiful Georgian home in the attractive town of Clevedon, 30 minutes from Bristol airport and city centre. It is 2 minutes walk to great restaurants, bars, boutique shops and just 5 minutes from the beach and historic pier. Views from the house are breath-taking, with Wales and Devon visible on a clear day. The rail station at Yatton is 10 minutes away, giving you access to Bristol, Bath, Exeter and the South West of the UK. We offer a spacious, warm and comfortable double room with views of the garden. Listed elsewhere we have an additional single or twin room with a extra futon suitable for a maximum of 3 people. Occasionally the whole house can be available, as a weekly let only, for your exclusive use, providing 2 double rooms (one with ensuite), a twin room and a futon with en-suite. This means it can accommodate 6-7 people. Please ask us about this. When booked on this basis, we will move out and go on holiday somewhere! Please note that the price for a whole house booking will be about 40% higher than the quoted weekly price. The room is on the first floor of the house, with a private bathroom with shower. Guests have access to our shared kitchen and amazing terraced garden, which has magnificent views down the coast and across the sea. There is also a separate private sitting room for you to use. Please note that Access to the front door is up a set of 20 fairly steep steps that could be challenging for some people. One of the photos shows this. We are experienced and sociable AirBnb hosts and welcome guests into our home from all parts of the planet for work or leisure visits. We like mixing with guests while respecting their privacy and have become friends with people from all over the world who have stayed with us through Airbnb. Please note that we have a very friendly, cute but bouncy young dog who is fond of throwing herself at all new people. We try to restrain her enthusiasm but You will have to be able to tolerate this to some extent! We will be glad to help you with any questions you may have over transport and making the most of your stay in the area. We have maps and guides to local attractions and places worth seeing. You won't find a nicer neighbourhood where so many nice shops, bars and places to visit are within literally 2 minutes walk. Plus, our road is regularly on TV. It featured as the High Street in the UK TV Police drama 'Broadchurch'! Buses to Bristol go from almost outside the front door. The X6/7 service goes right into the heart of Bristol, past the famous harbour and only takes 40 minutes. The X5 goes to Weston-Super-Mare. These are all good hourly services until late at night and takes all the stress out of parking in the city which is expensive and difficult at times. Yatton train station is about 15 minutes drive and gives you access to the line to Exeter and Plymouth in one direction and Bristol, Bath, Salisbury Cheltenham, the Midlands and London in the other. Train time from Yatton to Bristol is about 15 minutes and London is about 2 hours. Parking is on the street and there are limitations about length of stay but from Saturday at 16.00 you can park free until 10.00 on Monday morning.
