Next to the rail station of Rivera Bironico (15 min walking or 5 min by car from the apartment) you can find all the facilities: Post office with bancomat and Raiffeisen bank with bancomat, Pharmacy, Denner (superdiscount), oil station with minimarket open till 2200, restaurants and whine bar, pizzeria, butcher's shop etc. By car or mountain bike you can have a beautiful experience from this location. You can come and use also the railway station (Rivera-Bironico) which is 15mim walking from the apartment. Rivera is in the middle of Ticino and you can reach all the touristic destination (Locarno, Ascona, Valle Verzasca, Valle Maggia, Bellinzona, Lugano ecc.), wherever they are, very easily. Milano is 70min driving from Rivera! Como and it's famous lake 40min driving! Directly from the apartment you can make mountain bike parcour, or trekking. The Monte Tamaro with his famous church of arch. Mario Botta on the top, is just one of the very close destination you can reach. SHEETS: For reasons of hygiene and practicality in this apartment guests are invited to bring their own bed linen (sheets for double bed 160cmx200cm, sofa 80cm x 200cm, pillow covers and duvet covers). 3x Duvets each 150x200cm and pillows 80x45, are available in the house. A set of clean towels for 2 people is made available by the house. The apartment is simple and invites us to relax and make contact with the surrounding nature: there is no television, no Wi-Fi connection is provided from the house, unless specifically requested (Pocket Wi-Fi). There is a radio. and ... don't forget to bring your favorite book! ;) PARKING: the apartment is in a nucleus of the municipality of Rivera near the wood. The free parking space available is only 20m from the house. To reach it, however, there is a narrow passage (approx. 2.25m wide) and you can go there by car. If not, there are public parking spaces a 5 min walk from the house, along the main road.
