An incredibly peaceful, calm cottage just meters from the waterfront of beautiful Lake Macquarie. Luxurious modern bathroom, state of the art kitchen, and everything you will ever want for a relaxing, rejuvenating private break. Please be aware your luggage needs to be carried from your car park at the top of the hill, down approximately a 100m grassed hill, then back up again. If you have an injury or you have limited mobility you will struggle with access Cedar cottage is an open plan cottage with large windows taking in everything about being on the water, sitting on your private deck or relaxing within the window seat, bamboo timber floors and many modern state of the art comforts such as induction cooking, large fan forced oven, microwave, dishwasher and of course your own large fridge to prepare your own meals and enjoy at your own lesiure. Please be aware that your luggage needs to be carried from your car park at the top of the hill, down approximately a 100m grassed hill, then back up again. Please be aware that the hill can be slippery if we have had rain. If you have any injuries or have mobility issues you will struggle getting to and from your car. I will greet you upon your arrival. I will walk you down to the cottage via the landscaped garden stairs. From here , I am available in the main house where I live with my family whenever you may need anything or simply call my mobile and I am no more than 10 to 20 minutes away. Lake Macquaire is a wonder of natural beauty and warm friendly personalities, walk your way into Toronto to enjoy any one of the fantastic coffee shops, cafes, restaurants, quality local retailers and supermarkets. Or jump in the car to explore the many local wineries and vineyards in the Hunter Valley just 20 minutes away. You are approximately a 15 to 20 minute walk to Toronto or a 5 minute drive. The freeway is 10 minutes away. However at the top of the driveway the public transport bus will pick you up and take you all the way into Newcastle if you need. Toronto has some lovely bike tracks to enjoy a ride or walk. Cedar cottage is your own private escape with everything you need to not want to go anywhere. So bring your favourite DVDs. Bring your favourite ingredients to pop in the fridge and prepare all your meals in the kitchen with all you need to make your favourite master pieces! A spacious Landry off the kitchen and a dishwasher to make the most of relaxation time.The private deck is perfect to watch the sailboats, enjoy a glass of wine or even just listen to the water splash just meters from your seat.
