Beautiful Cheshire Farmhouse, sleeps 12

A stunning, wisteria-covered family home situated at the foot of Beeston Castle. The house sleeps 12 and is beautifully decorated, with large sunny reception rooms and bedrooms, a traditional farmhouse kitchen and a spacious stone hall dining room with adjoining games room. It is surrounded by a large garden and fields of lush green Cheshire farmland but is only a short drive from the nearby village of Tarporley and other neighbouring towns. The accommodation comprises four twin bedrooms, one double and two singles. There are two shared bathrooms and a walk-in shower room, as well as an en-suite bathroom adjoining one of the twin bedrooms. All of the bedrooms are beautifully decorated, comfortable and provide a blissfully quiet and restful night's sleep. The beds have high quality mattresses and towels and linen will be provided. Our housekeeper Jane lives in the adjoining property in case you have any problems during your stay. I can also be contacted on my mobile any time. Plenty of local taxi firms operate in the area to ferry people to and from the station. The nearest village is Tarporley (a 10 minute drive away) which has a variety of local shops, supermarkets, antique shops and beauty salons. There are a number of local pubs including the delightful Pheasant Inn, in nearby Burwardsley. This is 10 minutes away by car or, for the more adventurous, a 45 minute walk through beautiful woodland. The City of Chester is a 30 minute drive away and Liverpool, home of the famous Aintree race course (which hosts the Grand National) can be reached in just over an hour. There are numerous local attractions, including Beeston and Peckforton Castles, the Cheshire Ice Cream Farm, fishing at the local Cheshire trout lakes, the Burwardsley candle workshop, Chester Zoo and Chester Racecourse. Chester itself has a huge amount of shops, restaurants, museums and cinemas. There are also a number of garden centres, antique shops, golf courses and spas in the area.
