Garden Hideaway in Leafy Cul-de-Sac

*NOT SUITABLE FOR SELF-QUARANTINE* Large self-contained private guest suite in a peaceful leafy cul-de-sac halfway between Perth City and City Beach. We are surrounded by parklands and sporting grounds, with a lovely little lake and birdlife just metres away. Trains and buses are close by. 24/7 IGA supermarket, pharmacy, post office, cafes, restaurants and historic Wembley Hotel are all just 8 mins stroll through the parklands. Not suitable for children under 7 years. WiFi is available; password on arrival. You have the option of two private entrances - one at the side and the other at the rear of the house. Suits singles, two couples, a couple with one or two relatives/friends, or a family with one or two school-age children. There are two large bedrooms available. The main bedroom has a queen bed. The second bedroom has two single beds which can be reconfigured to make a king-sized bed, two single beds, or one single bed [see photos]. Both bedrooms have drawers, desks and hanging space. The bedrooms and living area have ceiling fans and oil heaters. Centrally controlled reverse cycle air-conditioning is available upon request. The bathroom has a vanity unit, a bathtub and a separate shower. The toilet room has an extra basin and a power point. The separate lounge area has a TV, DVD and CD players, with DVDs, CDs, books, games and magazines for you to enjoy during your stay. For meals, there is a fold down table for two, and four lap tables. The kitchenette has a fridge, washing machine, microwave, kettle, toaster, electric frypan and sandwich press, coffee plunger, blender, dishes and utensils. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk and condiments are provided. Outside your back door is a private undercover sitting area for you to enjoy. You are able to access the entire back half of our large house through two external doors. This area is yours exclusively. At the end of the hallway there is a door with soundproofing linking the two sections of the home which we keep locked for privacy. The back patio with bistro setting for 2-4 is also exclusively yours to enjoy. The guest suite is at the rear of our home. We will greet you on arrival and show you through your accommodation. There is a key safe for the rare event that this is not possible. We are available any time you need help, but are happy to leave you in peace otherwise. Our neighbourhood is quite unique. It is a peaceful, hidden area consisting of a series of little cul-de-sacs which end in beautiful Mabel Talbot Park with its lake and wildlife, yet it's central and convenient to all that beautiful Perth has to offer. There is a small group of shops at the end of our street, including a coffee shop, liquor store and hairdresser. A Shell service station [with convenience store] and McDonalds restaurant are a few minutes walk, as is the State Netball Centre and surrounding sports grounds. Lords Fitness Complex is also within walking distance. The Wembley shopping precinct is a 5 minute walk, with cafes, restaurants, Wembley Hotel [which serves excellent meals], a variety of shops, post office and pharmacies, including an award-winning IGA which is open 24/7 and provides fantastic house-made prepared meals. Subiaco can be reached by walking through the lovely Subiaco Common with its parks, playground and lake. Getting around Perth from our place by public transport is easy. Daglish train station on the Fremantle Line is nearby, and is only four stops from Perth city and one stop to Subiaco. In the other direction is the town of Claremont as well as Cottesloe Beach and the port city of Fremantle. City Beach is a 10 minute bus ride along Cambridge St Wembley. Challenge and HBF Stadium/Perth Superdrome, Bendat Basketball Stadium, CSIRO, Subiaco and Perth city are a short ride on the #28 bus at the end of our street. Most of Perth's major hospitals are quickly and easily reachable by public transport. If you have a car, there is free parking in the shady street in front our house. We will lend you a parking permit to use during the week, as there is a 2 hour parking limit Mon-Fri, 8am to 5pm.At the rear of the house near your back door is a gate to a leafy car park that is free from 5pm to 7am during the week. The car park is free all weekends. Secure parking in our gated carport can be arranged if required. Please seek owners' permission before using dryer. There is plenty of hanging space outside your door.
