It is located in a 17th century coaching inn recently and beautifully restored, in the heart of the village. Direct view on Pommard castle, nestled among some of the world finest vineyards. Available all year long. 750 / 990 euros per week depending on season. WiFi, towels and bed linen are included. Around the appartment: La Boulangerie – the bread shop ! Closed on Monday. Open 6:00 AM – 1:30 PM & 3:30 PM – 7:30 PM La Charcuterie – the village delicatessen / traiteur is near to the church Closed on Monday. Open 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM & 3:00 PM – 7:30 PM Café du Pont – Bar and terrace. Lunches are available here for casual dining. But not evening meals. Closed on Sundays. Restaurant Le Pommard and Cave Delagrange – lunches and evening meals available here, plus wine tasting. A very welcoming restaurant serving good local cuisine at reasonable prices with wines available by the glass. They have an attractive vaulted cellar and tables outside. Closed on Sunday / Monday Restaurant Auprès du Clocher – located next to the church, the restaurant opened in May 2009. There is a nice view over the church, quite formal atmosphere, and traditional menus. Park – there is a small park, rue du Parc, where you can take kids Winemakers & Wine – there are 20 winemakers in the village, covering 320 hectares. All wine production is red. Usually wine tasting is free, but winemakers expect you to buy after the “degustation” … but there are no obligations, and no one should be offended if you don’t make up your mind on buying bottles where and when you do wine tasting. In Beaune, you will always find something to do. This bustling medieval town has over 50 eateries, numerous Wine merchants, street fairs, parks and gardens. There is an excellent tourist information center in Beaune, at 6 Boulevard Perpreuil, near Passage Sainte Hélène. Château de Pommard - Our street name is “Rue des Jardins”, or Garden Street, as you are facing the castle’s garden. One hour guided tour of the chateau in English is available, ancient cellars, kitchen, small museum, gardens and of course wine tasting. Meursault. The castle has a lot to offer, especially if you take the time to visit the cellars ! Le Château de La Rochepot. A small village built around one of the most impressive castles in Burgundy Pommard is located 2 miles from Beaune, 250 South East of Paris, 1h30 by TGV train from Paris. Les Epenots has been given a 4* status by the Cote d'Or tourist board. Pommard, with Beaune and other nearby villages, has joined the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in 2015.
