Rosella Landing

This house was built three years ago. It's beautifully light and airy, with soaring double glazed windows capturing the river and the gum trees along its banks. Rosellas, black swans, white faced herons and pelicans and many other birds can be seen from the windows. A private pontoon jetty adjoins the river bank, and small craft can be moored to it. Swimming, fishing, and canoeing are popular activities, as is relaxing on the jetty with refreshments. From Kirwans Bridge, guests can visit Michelton and Tahbilk Wineries and several other award-winning wineries in the region. We are only 6 kms from Nagambie, where the Head of the River is an annual rowing highlight. There are markets each month in Nagambie and farmer's markets at Tahbilk and nearby Avenel. In Euroa there is an impressive Arboretum, where plants can be bought. This garden is still being established. There are, however, many carefully selected small native plants and grasses from our local area in the garden which guests can wander around. The house, garden, and jetty are available for guest's use. There are two kayaks tied up to the jetty, with paddles on the deck, and lifejackets in the laundry cupboard, which guests who are competent swimmers are free to use.
