Our home is an attractive stone house set in a mature garden on the edge of a pretty rural Dorset village . Only a few miles from the stunning Jurassic Coast, there are plenty of walks and local attractions for all the family. Superb village pub! Please read the directions carefully. Satnav will get you into the village, but you do need to read our directions to find the house. We do ask guests to confirm that they have had a vaccination at least two weeks before their arrival date. You will always get a warm welcome. We serve our own eggs and bread at breakfast, as well as other locally sourced food. Guests can sit out in our conservatory and enjoy our garden. In the summer, we give them breakfast in the conservatory, in the winter in our cosy farmhouse kitchen by the aga. Guests are treated as members of the family. If they are around at teatime, we will invite them to join us for a cuppa. We give them advice on local attractions, walks etc and can lend them local maps and torches (for the walk back from the pub), etc. During this Covid time, we do ask guests to confirm that they have had a vaccination at least two weeks before their arrival date. On the edge of a rural village We would like to advise our guests that we do not have a power shower in the bathroom as we are keen conservationists and wish to save water where possible. However there is plenty of hot water available at all times for a bath or shower.
