Ideal studio nestled inside protected nature park

Experience breathtakingly beautiful forest valley views from the doorstep of a delightful, modern studio. Surrounded by waterfalls and walks, enjoy the Portuguese culture in the local traditional villages with cafe's, shop and crafts. Studio has Excellent Wifi There is full mosquito protection to all windows and doors. The final part of our private track is rough and steep. Only accessible with 4 x 4 vehicles. However parking higher up the track is easy and secluded and then we suggest walking down. (5 minutes) There are four steps down to the studio front door entrance with a hand rail for those that need extra safety when using steps. We live along the private path between the main house, studio flat and our own home. There is wifi at the studio. Our valley is full of environmentally conscious families. We grow our own vegetables, keep hens, ducks and sheep. We try to limit damage to our beautiful valley by using safe products and practising permaculture. We are often called, The Happy Valley! There are many musicians among us and artists. We are quiet and very friendly! If you arrive by bus, I can meet you at the bus stop at Catraia do Mouronho. This bus stop drops you off from Coimbra, Lisbon & Porto. This is an hours round trip drive for me. Pick up is €30 No later than 7pm please. Talk to me about your preferences, I'll do my best to help you. Please park above the property on the track. Access to the parking space in front of the house is only suitable for 4x4 vehicles. I am happy to meet you in my Nissan Navana if I am free and will drive you down if you have luggage. Please try to arrive before 8pm in the summer and before 7pm in the winter if you want my assistance. Our family is very early to bed and early to rise. You will need to check in without meeting me on your arrival, if you do arrive after these times. The lights will be on and door unlocked in this case. To walk down takes 5 minutes but it is a dirt track and at one point a little steep. YOU WILL NEED A TORCH (unless you have amazing night vision) do try to arrive please while it is still light for your own ease and comfort. If guests use the washing machine and washing powder provided, a small contribution is requested of 1.50€ per load. Thank you for your consideration.
