Comfortable apartment in the old town
Comfortable apartment (60 sq m = 645,84 sq ft) located central in the old town, in the formerly known as "master brewers" house from the 16th/17th century, with a historical building structure that has been carefully restored. Access to the quiet and idyllic garden-terrace with a beautiful view over some historic sites. Suitable for up to 4 persons. The spacious apartment was carefully restored with natural materials (real wooden floors and chalkstone tiles) in 2017 and newly arranged with beautiful wooden furniture. There is a small garderobe with bench in the entrance area and additionally a spacious Jugendstil wardrobe as well as several cupboards to store your belongings. The bedroom has a comfortable 140cm bed and, facing the back gardens, offers a green, quiet outlook. The spacious kitchen is well equipped, it has a dishwasher, an electric oven, fridge with a freezer, a Nespresso-machine, a kettle, toaster, microwave, amongst other things, crockery/cutlery etc. Breakfast is not included, but there are many nice cafés and bakeries nearby. The vaulted bathroom, which formerly was the "black kitchen" in medieval times, has a bath with overhead shower and offers a washer-dryer and a hairdryer. There are plenty of fresh towels and clean bedding available. In the living room is a comfortable sofa bed (Ligne Roset) which can be set up for two people, furthermore a freeview-TV (Full HD) and WIFI. You've got access to the quiet and lovely garden-terrace with a wonderful view over the slope gardens, the town wall, towers, rear buildings, and the church. This is an entire private holiday home where you can relax, unwind and enjoy your stay in beautiful Landsberg. Landsberg is a beautiful old town with lots of inviting cafés, bars, restaurants, unique shops and historic sights to see. It's great to stroll through the romantic alleys and alongside the river Lech or walk through the wildlife park with it's deers and boars. There is a weekly market every Wednesday and Saturday where you can purchase fresh and regional products. Several cultural events, markets and festivals take place in Landsberg, the outer region and Munich. Landsberg's train station is just a 10 minute walk away from the apartment. In only 45 - 50 minutes you'll arrive at Munich central station to explore the capital of Bavaria or to visit the Oktoberfest. Lake Ammersee is 20 minutes by car from Landsberg. Kloster Andechs, a monastery with a brewery, offers a wonderful view over Lake Ammersee, it's a 40 minute drive by car. To get to Castle Neuschwanstein you can take the train to Füssen, then the bus to Neuschwanstein (stop "Hohenschwangau Neuschwanstein Castles, Schwangau"). The alps are a 1 - 1:30 hours drive away from Landsberg, there are wonderful hikes for every level of experience in the most stunning countryside.. There is no free parking in the city centre, although you can stop right in front of the house to unload and load your car. A public underground car park is in 5 minute walking distance from the house, in 'Lechstraße', the daily rate here is 6 Euro's and the night rate (7pm - 7am) is 1 Euro, at weekends from Saturday 7pm to Monday 7am it's a maximum of 3 Euro's. Another parking place is also nearby at 'Waitzinger Wiese' (adress: Gottesackerangerweg 1), here you pay 2 Euros for 24 hours. There is no free parking in the city centre, although you can stop right in front of the house to unload and load your car.
