This slick white villa strikes a pose in the Tuscan landscape and will delight aesthetes with its clean, uncluttered style, neutral decor and modish furnishings. Set on a hillside near Arezzo, it is a relaxing place for a party of eight to kick back, with contemporary styling and a semi-open-plan layout boosting the light and bright appeal of these ground-floor lodgings. Indulgent touches include en-suites for each of the three double bedrooms, and a wide sheltered terrace looking out to the mountains beyond, an elegant place to while away lunch or dinner savouring local flavours and quaffing wine from the surrounding vineyards. A large pool of iridescent water is the main attraction, just a step or two across the neatly shorn grass. Here on the paved sundeck that sharply defines the water’s edges, wannabe models can drape themselves across soft white loungers and hammocks, contemplating a trip into bustling Loro Ciuffenna, the vision of medieval times that shimmers in the valley below. Our Thoughts We love the stylish aspect of this property, a bold modern statement on the horizon that, for all its modernity, seems to enhance the gentle countryside in which it sits. The well-planned layout offers spacious communal areas and private bedrooms, each of which has the benefit of opening onto the garden. The star attraction, however, is the pool. It is a beautiful asset in itself, made even more desirable thanks to the wonderful views it offers. Notes 3 bedrooms. 3 bathrooms, all en-suite. The owner lives on the first floor and their family may occasionally use the pool. They also have a pet dog, but it is kept within a fenced garden. Guests are welcome to arrange their own external services at the villa but please inform the owner beforehand. Casa Michelangelo has facilities to charge an electric car, just a few metres from the car park. Clients who wish to use it must bring an adapter and cable with them. Parking - On site Pool The pool is to the rear of the villa, offering views over the town and to the mountains beyond. It is enclosed by a fence and furnished with a paved surround furnished with sunloungers, a hammock and parasols. The water is reached via Roman steps. Pool size: 6x11m, 1.4m deep.
