SEA VIEW apartment - 3 min walk from Old Leigh

The apartment is perfectly positioned with Old Leigh cockle sheds and pubs a 3-minute walk down the hill and the shops & cafes of Leigh just 3 minutes walk up the hill. The apartment has a splendid view of the estuary from the main living area. There are 2 bedrooms, one of which has a view of the sea too! Being a ground floor flat there is easy access to the shared lawn outside. There is a designated car-parking space. Leigh station is a 15-minute walk away and 55 mins from London Fenchurch st. The kitchen is fully equipped, with washing machine, fridge (small internal freezer box), microwave, oven and 4 hobs, kettle, toaster, etc. If arriving by car you can park in the road directly outside the apartment in Hadleigh Road. The flat is situated on the ground floor. Please note that this road is steep. If using the designated parking space (No8) in the car park, it is accessed from Leigh Park Road and the parking space it is only suitable for small sized cars. Access from the carpark is down an external staircase. In most instances guests prefer to access the apartment by using the key lock box which is situated just outside the front door. If, however, you would like to be met please give me a call (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) For those that like walking and nature you can start from the flat and walk through the cockle sheds to two tree island where there are hides for watching the birds. Continue on to Hadleigh Castle before heading back to the flat. A lovely circular walk of about 5 miles. Walking from the flat you can also walk the 5 minutes to the sea and turn East instead, and walk along the sea shore to Southend Pier; approximately 4 miles one-way. If you fancy a trip into Southend and a walk along the pier, you can walk or take the train from Leigh station and perhaps take the open top bus back? The flat is on the ground floor and has communal gardens laid with lawn to the front and side. These gardens are shared between the flats and you are more than welcome to use them during your stay.
