Own entrance from sunny patio, roomy, generous en suite, close to airport, it is set in grounds with a beautiful bush and water outlook. Within the city's northern boundary, we have local access to the Southern A1, good shopping, reserves and many other attractions and amenities. On bus route, 20 minutes to Central Christchurch. Breakfast included with free transport to the airport on prior arrangement. A "rural environment", still well within the Christchurch City boundary, we are near the International Airport, (without a significant noise problem), vehicle hire, incl. cars and campervans; the "Antarctic Centre"; "Orana Park Zoo"; "The Groynes" with recreational lakes and reserve; the "Clearwater Resort" golf course and its other fine facilities. Not far from us, is a "New World Supermarket" and comprehensive range of retail/service outlets at "Northwood Shopping Centre". We are a modest walk from a restaurant, which is invariably well spoken of by our Guests. "Willowbank Wildlife Reserve", shop and Café, is directly across the road from us. Other local 'eateries' are accessible. Next to us and extending from our own, acreage of Native Bush, is the pretty, stream-side, "Smack's Creak Reserve". Also adjacent, "Redwood Aquatics" may enthrall, with its big range of aquariums full of tropical and exotic fish (Website hidden by Airbnb) short walk down the road, before one reaches the Restaurant is the large CCC "Styx Mill Reserve" with its extensive walkways, wild life, native plantings, ponds and streams. (Website hidden by Airbnb) "Raspberry Farm" is nearby. There is a bus stop some 50 meters from our entrance, with a short ride to "Northwood" and from there, to town. (Website hidden by Airbnb) An easy drive to the City Centre takes about 20 minutes. We are buffered from, but very Close and accessible to, NZ's main State Highway 1, which goes from Cape Reinga to The Bluff. This, allows for a rapid and uncomplicated egress by road, to the rest of New Zealand. Our own "block", of almost 16 acres, is not without interest and has visual appeal, with bush, ponds, paddocks, domestic and wildlife. There are many other 'local attractions' for the visitor to discover within North. Christchurch extending to the braided Waimakariri river at the City's Northern boundary and Pegasus Bay 10 klms. to the East. Close to a bus stop.
