This is an ideal base from which to explore the beautiful countryside of the Wirral peninsula or to visit the city of Liverpool. Trains take only 25 mins from Hoylake into Liverpool city centre, and the room is only 3 mins' walk from Hoylake train station. The room is on the top storey of an Edwardian house in a quiet road, around the corner from supermarkets, shops and restaurants. Liverpool Golf Club and Hoylake Sailing School are both nearby. The price includes a continental breakfast. We have two bedrooms available on the top storey of our 5 bedroomed house. Both have desks in and free Wifi. There is a separate shower-room reserved for guests, with shower, washbasin & toilet. Your own room and shower room are for guests only. The kitchen, dining area, snug and lounge (with TV)are shared with the hosts. Your hosts will be Corina and Ian who live in the property and will give you a friendly welcome. Hoylake is an excellent base for exploring the city of liverpool. There are four trains per hour and journey time is 25 minutes. The station is only 3 minutes' walk from the house. Hoylake beach is close by with spectacular views of Hilbre Island and the coastline of North Wales. We are located only minutes away from the Wirral Coastal walk and cycleway. The area is popular with birdwatchers because of the wading birds that visit the River Dee Estuary. There are several nature reserves on the Wirral which are a short drive away. There is a sports centre in West Kirby, one mile away, with a swimming pool, gym and other sports facilities. West Kirby is a larger centre with facilities such as a large public library, many restaurants, independent shops and a marine lake. Royal Liverpool Golf Club is within easy walking distance of the house. Hoylake station is 3 minutes' walk, and there are also buses that can take you directly into Liverpool. There is parking on the road outside the house. There is a pedestrian path from Hoylake to West Kirby, or it is possible to walk along the beach. The Wirral Way foot and cycle path starts from West Kirby, following a disused railway that used to run to Chester. It is now a popular walking and cycling trail. This is our listing for Room #1. This room has one standard UK size (137cm x 190 cm) double bed in it, suitable for 2 people. If you are two people but require separate beds, then we have another listing for Room #2 which is adjacent. That has another double bed in it, the same size. So if you need two rooms you will need to book that as well.
