Stunning views of the landscape in every direction. Located around a mile down a narrow road to the farm, the cottage sits in sublime peace and tranquility. A heavenly retreat for couples be it for a beach holiday, a walking holiday, a romantic getaway, or to celebrate a special occasion - Stable Cottage will exceed expectations. Stable Cottage is a compact and yet luxurious space. The upstairs housing the king sized bedroom, along with the spacious bathroom incorporating a full shower cubicle and a beautifully designed roll top bath. Bath robes are also provided alongside all bed linen and towels. Downstairs is open plan. A sofa for two, a log effect fan heater for an added touch of cosiness, although the central heating makes for lovely warmth on autumn evenings, a bijou space for dining and a well stocked kitchen with everything you could need if you decide to self cater. A selection of glasses to match whatever your favourite tipple is, and some beautiful crockery, everything has been carefully thought about and provided for guest comfort. Stable Cottage sits within a working farm in Silecroft, on the western coast of Cumbria and is entirely for guests private use. I am not available on site, however my co-host lives at the farmhouse, and is very easily contactable should guests need anything leading up to their stay or while there. Located about a mile down a narrow road to the farm, most people would probably never think to make the turning, and so the cottage sits in its own surrounding splendour, in sublime peace and quiet. Stable Cottage, easily accessible, and yet a world away from it all. We really do think this cottage is going to be a favourite of couples, and there are also good pubs available within walking distance where you can enjoy a good meal at a reasonable price. I would say a car is essential to appreciate all that the area has to offer. I don't take dogs on the property with there being both farm dogs and sheep around.
