Only 1km from Kalamunda Centre at the start of the Bibbulmun Track, our private entry upstairs suite comprises bedroom, bathroom, lounge, kitchenette and large private balcony with an uninterrupted view of our Regional Parkland, where kangaroos abound! We have over an acre of garden with a great variety of native and exotic plants, which Linda will be pleased to show you around. There are several signed walks in the area, plenty of cafes and restaurants in town, wineries and orchards close by. The upstairs bedroom is light and airy with a comfortable double bed. Private lounge, office desk, bathroom and kitchenette complete the suite. You have a large balcony with a panoramic view of the forest down our valley. You may breakfast in your own dining area, or take your provisions outside and breakfast on your balcony while overlooking the forest. Please make breakfast provisions choices when booking and let us know if you have special dietary needs. Note that cooking facilities are limited to microwave, toaster, kettle, small fridge, and an electric frying pan. Shaded parking is adjacent to the house. Separate access to the guest suite is available so you can come and go as you please. The garden and patio area may be used at any time. There are several areas in the extensive gardens where guests may relax and enjoy the bird life and the peace and beauty of the Regional Park. Being retired, we are generally around and will be pleased to help with information on local activities and what's on in town. Our place is well away from traffic noise, protected from both the winter westerlies and the summer easterly winds. Woodland extends from our boundary for over 10km as we are on the edge of the main Perth water catchment area. The Kalamunda area has many vineyards and orchards, cycling and walking trails and even a camel farm. There are frequent buses to Perth from Kalamunda bus station, 20 minutes walk from our place. There is also a bus service to Midland. The International airport terminal is 15 minutes drive, 20 minutes to the domestic. Please note, non-smoking accommodation. Sorry, also, no pets.
