Private kitchenette , private bathroom. The garden has a seated area, hammocks and a firepit and BBQ. A 15 min WALK to Budgewoi shops and Lakes and a 5 min DRIVE to local beaches. We pride ourselves on looking after our guests and making their stay as comfortable and easy as possible. We think we have thought of everything you might need during your stay, but if not, just ask. We will do our best to accommodate you and if you would like a meet and greet, I am only too happy to pop in to meet you or just let yourselves in and enjoy your stay. We are now offering Cheese platters for you to purchase during your stay. Cheese Platter for 2 - $35 Cheese Platter for 1 - $25 Add half bottle white or red wine - $10 Full bottle white or red wine - $20 2 Coroner beers - $15 Please order before your booking date so the platter can be waiting for you in the fridge upon your arrival. Please ask about payment method. We are trialing this at the moment and hope to add more platters, Picnic baskets and meal options in the future.( I have included a photo of the cheese platter.) I have extensive experience in the hospitality industry, having owned 2 businesses in food over a 25 year period. The guest suite has reverse cycle air conditioning (heating and cooling). *The bedroom features a Queen size bed with fresh linen and comfy pillows, Tv with in built DVD player, Extra bedding and Air Conditioning. Suitcase and hanging space and a large chest of drawers for storage. *The sitting room has a Double sofabed, Air conditioning, smart tv with Netflix. There is a DVD player as well, with a great variety of DVDs and CDs for you to choose from. *A fresh modern bathroom featuring a shower with a waterfall shower head and a full size bath. Fresh towels, toiletries, personal hygiene products, in case you get caught out and a hair dryer. *Your own private Kitchenette with a microwave, fridge, kettle, teapot, Coffee pod machine (some coffee pods and choc sprinkle supplied ), Plunger coffee pot, toaster, Egg Boiler, pancake maker, wine glasses, mugs and cups and full dinner set. Please note, there is No stove, hotplates, tap or a sink in the kitchenette. We have supplied an area for you to place used cups, plates and cutlery and we do the cleaning up for you if you stay for more than one night. You can place the container supplied for dirty dishes etc, on the verandah, which I will collect and return to you by the end of the day with any requests for extra supplies. I do not have to access the cottage to do this. Tea (teabags and loose leaf tea ), Coffee Pod machine with pods, Instant coffee, Plunger coffee, sugar and a 1 litre full cream milk are provided. We also supply BBQ utensils ,oil, sauces etc, for the fire pit, which is always stacked ready to light. We supply beach towels, picnic blanket, warm cosy blankets to wrap around yourself for outdoor use around the fire pit at night, umbrella and shopping bags for you to use while you are here. There is even a kids tepee for the kids to use in the garden and a secret fairy door in the garden that will delight children. We have a kayak available for guests to use, free of charge, you just need to be able to transport it to the lake or the beach. We live at the back of the cottage but use a separate entrance down the side of the cottage ( you may see us occasionally walking across the garden to gain access to the side gate ), so apart from that your guest suite is private and has its own entrance, garden space and private driveway at the front of the cottage for you to park in. PLEASE let us know in ADVANCE if you are having other people besides yourselves to stay in the cottage. This is for insurance reasons. PLEASE NOTE that it is a 5 minute drive to Budgewoi shops, beaches or lakes, or a 15-20 minute walk to the Budgewoi shops or a 30min walk to the beach. Budgewoi is centrally located on the Central Coast with a lot of activities on offer , great swimming, fishing, dining, shopping ( Tuggerah ), bushwalking. 30mins to Tree Tops adventure park. 40mins to Terrigal. 20mins to The Entrance and 30 mins to Yarramalong. 1 hour form the Hunter valley with great wineries, Pokolbin. Newcastle CBD, with wonderful restaurants, festivals/markets. Newcastle Airport is only 1 hour and 15mins away. Please check the map below, which gives you a good idea of where we are located and when you book you will be able to see our exact location. This is a smoke free and drug free accommodation. As we often have guests ask us about the Service FEE that is added to the cost of the accommodation when you book, It is Airbnb that charge you and collect that fee, not us. We charge for accommodation only. Your Guest suite, the garden with fire pit/BBQ and the driveway at the front of the house. We love to meet our guests, but if you prefer to let yourself in and get settled without a meet and greet, that is absolutely fine. You can always message me if you need help with anything or need some extra supplies. Your privacy is completely respected by us and we are available to you at any time, but we won't intrude on your privacy. Please let me know beforehand if you would like us to pop in and say hi. Our home is a 15-20min WALKto the shopping centre of Budgewoi. 5min DRIVE to the beachs including the spectacular Soldiers Beach and a 5 min DRIVE to Edgewater Park (BBQ and playground facilities ) on Budgewoi Lake with a fantastic paved walk around the lake or sit down by the lake with Fish and Chips from Saltwater Seafoods in Budgewoi circle. Wyee train station is 10mins from Budgewoi. Wyong station is 20mins. Public transport is close by. All the local clubs have courtesy buses that you can catch to and from the club. *Your Guest suite has a lock box containing the Front door key, so you can check yourself in. I will notify you of the lock box code and access info before the date of your arrival. There is a $10 fee to replace the key if lost. *There is no Stove, Hotplates, sink or tap in the kitchenette. *We are located a 5 minute DRIVE from the lake or the beach.
