Bruadair's (Scottish Gaelic for 'dream') open floor plan allows everyone to gather in a common space with water views abounding or retreat to your own nook. Three bedrooms and two baths are located on the main, living level while the spacious master bedroom is upstairs with its own large bath, shower and whirlpool tub. Bruadair has a beautiful deck overlooking the water, plus a large screened-in porch provides great breezes and water views, too. Glass doors highlight the views whether you are cooking, playing games, reading or watching television. Step out the glass sliders, three steps down the deck and the private beach awaits you. The Bruadair Guest House adds another bedroom and bath (separate rental 766952), which could bring the total to 5 bedrooms and 4 baths. With 2 kayaks** and 4 bicycles included in the rental, touring the Bay, the estuaries or the Park is a breeze. Ospreys, herons, bald eagles, pelicans and other natural beauties are outside the door or tucked away in nearby estuaries where kayaking in a peaceful setting is magnificent. Scotland Yards makes your stay easy. We provide guests with towels, linens, kitchen supplies, paper towels, soaps, shampoo and everything you need to truly get away. Just bring yourselves and your food and your personal effects. Our guests frequently comment that the rarely want to leave once they arrive. For those who so choose to venture out, a lovely local winery, historic St Mary's City, various historical plantations and other destinations such as Solomon's Island, Leonardtown and St. George's Island provide entertainment. Young children love the Calvert Marine Museum, about 30 miles away on Solomon's Island. With a private beach in front while nestled in a wooded, small beach community, guests have the best of woods and water. This is not a boardwalk! But, If you want luxury accommodations, waves lulling you to sleep, kayaking and otherwise enjoying a secluded beach setting, Bruadair and its guest house beckon you. **Kayaks will not be available during late fall, winter, and early spring periods due to concerns regarding guest safety due to low water and air temperatures. For monthly rates from October - April, please inquire.
