Rocklee Bed & Breakfast, Ballachulish

Rocklee is in the historic village of Ballachulish in the beautiful Scottish Highlands. The village is minutes from Glencoe, in the heart of fabulous walking country. The house is in an elevated position overlooking Loch Leven and the mountains beyond. We offer a comfortable and spacious guest room, ideal for couples, and with prior notice we can provide an extra bed for children or for friends travelling together. A warm highland welcome awaits in Rocklee and I look forward to meeting you! You will have a beautiful and spacious ground floor bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, television, DVD player and DVDs, tea and coffee making facilities, etc. There is also a lounge and breakfast bar outside your door which you are most welcome to use. There is fast internet at no extra charge. You are welcome to make use of the lovely and extensive gardens - in short, please feel right at home! I live in the house so am on hand to answer any questions you might have. Ballachulish is a lovely and historic village, famed throughout Scotland and the world for its quarry and high quality slate. Being on Loch Leven there are plenty of opportunities for water sports and boat trips. It's the perfect base for exploring the highlands, being only a few minutes from Glencoe, 30 minutes from Fort William and less than one hour from Oban. Ballachulish is served by buses from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Oban and Fort William. It's best, though, if you have a car, as bus timetables can be a bit limiting. There are local taxis and bicycle hire. 1) Breakfast is provided - it's a continental breakfast served buffet-style. Please let me know of any dietary requirements or restrictions you may have. 2) Please note that there are two cats and a dog in the house.
