Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Spectacular Devon countryside views from glamping tents on a Devon hilltop Edging Dartmoor National Park. This secluded camping field is a fab base for active families and walkers (not forgetting their canine pals), with many a good hike from the site, a public tennis court in the next field, and a golf course 15 minutes’ drive away. You may use the whole of the field, but please stay out of the barn. The field I will give you your space, but please message me whenever you like and I will get back to you ASAP Devon countryside Car Glebe Glamping has 3 bell tents and is located on a Devon hilltop with spectacular views across the surrounding area. This secluded camping field is a fab base for active families and walkers (not forgetting their canine pals), with many a good hike from the site, and a golf course 15 minutes’ drive away. Also a outdoor swimming pool just 10 minutes from the You won’t have a problem amusing the kids either; they can climb aboard a mini-train to chug around Paignton Zoo Environmental Park, or scare themselves on the thrill rides at Crealy Theme Park and Resort (both 40 minutes). Of course the south-coast beaches around Torbay and Paignton are less than 45 minutes away, for good, clean fun swimming in the sea and all sorts of watersports. And pony-mad youngsters, guess what – there’s a riding school within 20 minutes, from where you can trek up onto the moors. Speaking of Dartmoor – the National Park Visitor Centre, where you can get all sorts of info on where to walk and what to see in the park, is in Postbridge (30 minutes), where you can also see an ancient clapper bridge across the East Dart river. It’s easy to keep everyone fed and watered too; you can barbecue on site – there’s a handy store for picking up basics in Ilsington (five minutes) and bigger supermarkets in Newton Abbot (20 minutes), or you can let someone else do the work and head out to the local pubs and restaurants.
