ARTEMIS Spacious Luxury Villa with XL Private Pool

Enjoy your summer staying in this elegant 450sq m villa, situated within a 2000sq m piece of land full of flowers and green. The property's unique&strategical position, provides you with an uninterrupted view for as far as the eye can reach, in a pleasant, open spaced, less noisy area than the center's, providing you at the same time, with anything you need within short walking distance Its open spaces, swimming pool & basketball court, makes it an ideal choice mostly for families, but not only! The house is arranged in two levels, ground floor and first floor, connected with a marble staircase. On the ground floor, in two levels, lies the large space of the living room and kitchen, both equipped with high quality, modern style, furniture and accessories. There is also a WC to serve the needs of this floor. Due to all the above, an extra 2 people can easily be hosted in the comfortable sofa beds, without being any trouble. Two spacious dining areas are available at this floor (one in the kitchen area and a larger one in the living room area), where you can enjoy your meals with a view either to the back green yard or overlooking the clear blue pool. The floor is connected to the front to the main entrance and to the back to the pool area. It also opens up in the front to a big 20 sq m balcony with a wonderful view. On the first floor, the 3 large bedrooms overlooking the sea offer the unique amenity of an en-suite bathroom each, so you can enjoy the privacy of your bathroom and without never-ever having to wait on a queue. Two of the bedrooms also open up to a wonderful 20 sq m private balcony each, from where you can view the sunset or the sunrise. On the third room, facing the double bed, there is a wall to wall glass window, from where you can enjoy an uninterrupted view from the hill down to the sea, even from a lying down position. That is why from every corner of the house you can enjoy an open space feeling, allowing you to get connected to the unique natural environment of Crete. The whole property, including the swimming pools (a large one 12m by 5m and another one aimed for kids use, both maintained and cleaned DAILY) basketball court and colorful gardens, are at the visitors' disposal, to ensure your stay is as pleasant as possible! The barbecue and bath tub Jacuzzi are maybe the extra touch to make you as comfortable as at home! The only off-limits area is the basement apartment, -where the housekeepers live- which due to the inclination of the ground opens up to the facade. Although I am not around often since I live and work in Athens, there is a lovely, middle aged couple of housekeepers, living in the separate, off-limits apartment within the property, who are entitled to the daily maintenance. Their presence around the property is very discreet (they work mostly in the early morning hours) in order to provide and care for the property's as well as the pool's daily cleaning, maintenance and watering. They will also be available to you, when and if needed, in order to provide you with any service, help or information you may need. The neighborhood is quiet, calm and safe, since the villa belongs to a scenery of detached houses and villas situated just outside the village of Ano Hersonissos. The area is ideal not only for families or quiet couples stay but also for small groups of friends, looking to relax and enjoy the privacy of a beautiful retreat but at the same time be reasonably close to the strip, in case there is a desire for “a change of scenery”. Everything you need (mini market, bakery, drug store etc) is in 2 to 5min walking distance from the villa. You can also very easily reach the stores of the center of Chersonissos on foot (15 min downhill) or you can easily get a taxi to there. The ride is very-very short and it will cost you around 6,00€. However, a car rental is strongly advised, in case you seek to explore a wider area, as public transportation can be disheartening for a large group of people and distances in Crete are noteworthy. Although we love kids, the place might be unsuitable for infants, since there is no special protection granted for them. Please note that the house is also equipped with central heating, making it an excellent choice even for a winter stay.
