There is a well stocked organic vegetable and herb garden, fruit trees, grapevines and huge dry stoned terraced garden to enjoy. The fantastic medieval walled city of Lucca is only 35 minutes away. This has come about by popular request from our international guests. Leave your bags, car and worries behind to go off by train to explore Florence, or Cinque Terra etc for the night. People have discovered they don’t want to give up the peace and comfort they have found at the barn, but having travelled halfway across the World it is only right that Italy’s heritage sights must be seen.
