Garden Cottage

This house features a fully equipped kitchen, large living/dining room with wood fire, large bathroom and a second toilet. There are 2 bedrooms, one with queen size bed and bunk bed. The next has a queen bed and a single bed. Magnificent views from the verandah, small enclosed yard for pets and access to private garden and lawn area. We provide all bedding and towels. Guests can help feed a variety of farm animals including chickens, goats and sheep, Red the cow, Esmay the pig and at the right time of the year many baby animals. Pets are welcome under supervision. The private area of the gardens surrounding the cottage. Childrens play ground-shared with other guests. Driveway area allows viewing of some animals and bird aviaries Feeding and full farm access can be arranged with hosts on arrival daily times available Only 3km from Alexandra township, short drive to Lake Eildon & many access points of the Goulburn river for boating and fishing. Half hour drive to Cathedral Mountians for bushwalks and mountain Climbing. In winter the Snow Fields of Lake Mountain and Mt Buller are only 1-2 hours away. For the push bike riders it is only 900 meters to access the Great Victorian Rail Trail Via Old Fawcett road, leave the car right here and set off on your bike, to gain access into Alexandra or further afield to Molesworth, Yea and Tallarook in one direction or Merton Bonnie Doon and Mansfield in the other. Local Supermarket hours 8am-8pm Daily except Christmas day Local Service Station has 24hour Card access for fuel.
