Travel light & only bring the minimum. We thought of everything! Nestled at the heart of Aveyron, Maison Le Cayrou, is a renovated ancient farm house located in a typical hamlet. Discover a haven of peace, with fields as far as the eye can see, walks on agricultural paths to unwind and escape from your everyday life. Ideal for a family or friends, with ou without your pet, this little countryside spot let you unravel and enjoy Aveyron's activities, discoveries & culinary explorations Traditionally made of stone, the house is pleasant in summer for the freshness it brings. A terrace as well as vast green fields and orchards are the promise of convivial meals in the sun or under the stars in the middle of nature. During rainy days, what could be more ideal than the converted barn or the living room with its large windows to enjoy the countryside view without denying one's comfort ? Renovated in 2019, the house has a living / dining room on the ground floor with a modern fully equipped kitchen and an access to a large barn of 60 square meters with a Ping-Pong table. Upstairs, the bathroom and three bedrooms, one with private bathroom, welcome you for a good night’s sleep. Thought like a second home in the countryside where you will just have to bring the minimum, we provide hotel quality bed sheets, towels and toiletries (shampoo, shower gel, toothbrushes ...) and kitchen equipment (dishwashing liquid, sponges, garbage bags ..). A washing machine is available in the house, and for any other need, we will be happy to assist you with the equipment of our terraced house. About pets, please note that there is an additional fee of 6e per pet per night. (limited to two pets in the house). We recommend to prepare their favorite toys and basket as the house is not equipped. Please note that the house is strictly non-smoking, however we provide ashtrays on the terraces. 【Fridge stocked up before your arrival!】 Don't feel like spending your precious vacation time going grocery shopping ? For only 10 euros, why not ordering from the Leclerc drive located in Luc La Primaube and let us collect your pre-paid order and stock up the fridge before your arrival. Please just let us know a few days in advance so that we can get ready. If you would like to discover a traditional local meal, we suggest ordering aligot, tripoux, saucisse de pays and Marcillac wine. Your group and you will be alone in the accommodation and totally independent. The entrance is private and the house is not overlooked. However, we share the parking lot and live in the terraced house. We will do everything to be discreet while remaining at your disposal for any questions or needs. The house is located at the end of a dead end road, so you can let your children play outside and let your pet roam. Many paths start from the hamlet to go through fields, forest and near streams, which make them ideal for daily walks. In the summer you can pick blackberries, pick up a box of lamb meat from the local farmer, and in the evening even watch the cows returning from the meadows. On weekends for breakfast, enjoy good, freshly baked bread bought from the local bakery truck that stops near the house. The nearest station is Luc La primaube located 15 minutes by car. Rodez train station is 16km away. We recommend coming by car or renting one in order to be more comfortable exploring the region. The nearest Supermarket is 13min by car. A pharmacy, bakery and other small shops are located around 5min by car. As this is a pet friendly property please be careful about serious pet hair allergies before booking. We work hard to clean perfectly the house however we prefer to not recommend our place to guest with severe allergies.
