In the charming village of Findhorn, c.150 yards from the North sea and stunningly beautiful beaches, this little Victorian cottage is a self contained property within the conservation area. With a large private garden, the spacious cottage will be your home from home. Make yourself comfy in the bright kitchen area, enjoy a relaxing evening in the cosy sitting room and sleep well in 1 of the 2 double rooms. An additional double sofa bed can sleep 6 guests. Number 10 is situated near the water with a spacious, private garden - a unique thing in Findhorn. There are many spots within the garden to sit and relax, to enjoy a bbq, or to recover in peace after a day at the beach. The cottage is spacious and although has 2 bedrooms, can accommodate 6 people using the double sofa bed in the living room. . It is literally round the corner from two of the village seafront hostelries, The Kimberley (180 yds) and The Crown And Anchor (120 yds) . A short walk along the sea ( 0.3 miles) will take you to The Captain's Table where you can hire equipment, take a trip out to the North Sea, catch a water taxi or eat a wide variety of food, including ice cream and delicious fish and chips. Guests have the full use of the cottage and garden. Free, safe parking on the road outside the cottage. I am always ready to answer queries and will provide you with mobile numbers and an email address! Findhorn is a quiet seaside village that comes alive in the summer months. Both tourists and locals come to enjoy the 7 mile long sandy beach. Facilities in the village are excellent - a shop, bakery, fish and chip van and 3 pubs serving excellent food. The nearby Findhorn Foundation on the outskirts of the village, is open to the public to browse around. Taxi firms are plentiful. Forres is 5.5 miles away and has a railway station, connecting you to all major cities and excellent bus service to both Aberdeen and Inverness. Saturday to Saturday bookings only May to September, and also over Easter and October holiday periods.
