87 East Street Room 3
This is a double bed room on the top floor with a lovely view out over the hills. It utilises a bathroom which is just down the hall from the room on the same floor which is shared with one other room. It is part of a large period house that is shared with other guests, it has three other rooms you can see listed on Airbnb. The house has a kitchen, living room, utility room and garden (the garden is shared with dogs!) Prices are negotiable please ask for further details. 87 East Street is a large period building near the center of Ashburton. I have been letting rooms for a number of years and the house has four rooms to let. You will have your own private room and a bathroom that is shared with one other room. The kitchen, living room, utility room and garden are shared. I live next door and the garden is joined which means my dogs are sometimes in the garden but they never go in the house you will be staying in. I will greet you and make you welcome. If you are staying more than a week I clean the rooms once a week. Other than that our interactions will be fairly minimal; I will let you keep yourself to yourself. Ashburton is a lovely quiet town with foodie shops and antique shops. It is on Dartmoors doorstep and access is very easy to the moors and surrounding areas because of the A38 which runs adjacent to Ashburton. Car is the best mode of travel because it will give you access to Dartmoor and other towns and cities nearby and even Cornwall if you want. There are buses to Ashburton from Exeter, Plymouth, Newton Abbot and Totnes. If you are travelling by train then stop at Newton Abbot and catch a taxi from there. I have mentioned that the bathroom is a short walk down a hallway but I am emphasising it here. One other room uses that bathroom.
