This large family home is a retreat from your busy lifestyle, located in a quiet tree lined cul-de-sac. The well-established and maintained garden provides a quiet and secluded space to relax and there is a large, covered outdoor dining space, with dining table and chairs, BBQ and ceiling fan. There is also a large deck with outdoor lounges, coffee tables and sun umbrella. The house is spacious and has been designed to accommodate lots of people whilst providing private spaces – inside and out. The open plan kitchen, dining and lounge all flow directly onto the outdoor deck. There is also a large rumpus area upstairs for the kids to escape and play and teenagers to retreat. The rumpus room has a sofa, 2 desks and a smart tv. It also has toys, books, dress ups and board games for the little ones. Downstairs there is a separate TV room, living area and quiet, sunny front room for reading or relaxing. The front room contains a king sofa bed and can be converted into a 5th bedroom, if requested. With one en-suite in the Master's bedroom and a family bathroom that has a large bath, relaxing here is easy. Late check-out and early check-in is available where possible. Our street is a quiet, family friendly cul-de-sac and we have fantastic neighbours, who are always willing to help out. Centrally located and family friendly The Lower North shore is one of the best places to live in Sydney, offering easy access to Shops, City, Bushland and Beaches. Centrally located and close to direct public transport so you can explore Sydney at your leisure: visit the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney Opera House, Botanic Gardens, Luna Park, Darling Harbour, Manly and Bondi Beach or simply enjoy shopping in Sydney City or Chatswood shopping district. Lane Cove West is located just 9km North-West of Sydney City. The house is just a 5-10 minute walk to Blackman Park where you can enjoy river foreshore bush walks, cafe and picnic areas, play equipment including flying fox, bike track, off leash dog park, oval and tennis courts. It is also a short drive to the beautiful bushland of Lane Cove National Park. There are several café’s within short walking distance of the house for a leisurely weekday breakfast or lunch. Or if you prefer, Lane Cove Village is a 5 min drive or 20 minute walk and provides all the local amenities you require, with many vibrant cafes and restaurants, boutique shops and supermarkets, an Aquatic centre with indoor and 50m outdoor pool, library and much more. There are many things to do in the local area including; swim at the local Lane Cove Aquatic centre, explore Lane Cove Village, play a round of golf or discover Lane Cove National Park, which provides great bushwalks through the native Australian bush, play areas for children, lovely BBQ and picnic options. There is parking available with this property and it is just a short drive to Sydney City (20mins) or Chatswood Westfield shopping centre (20mins). There is a bus stop just a short walk from the house, with buses that take you directly to Sydney City in about 15 mins and another bus to Chatswood. Uber and Taxis are readily available and are an easy, quick way to get around. Airport is approx 30mins from house, (can be more in peak hour). We only take on a small amount of guests throughout the year and make sure that the house is thoroughly and professionally cleaned before each guest arrives. If you have young children/babies we are able to put up a stair gate for you.
