“Casa de Raivó” is a property with 2 independent houses and swimming pool, sitting on (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) m2 land, located in Mosteirô, Baião (70 km away from Oporto). Its located on top of a stunning cliff with overwhelming views of the Douro river. The property may be described by two different spaces: the lodging and entertainment area, organised in layers (typical morphology from the Douro region), and the garden, nature’s space with various species of trees (cork trees, pine trees, olive trees, amongst others). The lodging and entertainment area is made up of: a Yellow House, a Bungalow, an outdoor kitchen, a swimming pool (with supporting bathroom), and a wooden porch. YELLOW HOUSE The Yellow House has two stories, both of them with access to the outside. The top floor contains: - a combined living and dining room, with a sleeping-couch (for two, separate beds), dining table, TV. It also has a lovely balcony with an astonishing view to the river. - a kitchenette, equipped with stove, fridge and micro-wave. - a bathroom, with a washing basin, a toilet and a shower. The bottom floor is a bedroom, with two twin beds and a wardrobe. The house is equipped with a heating system. BUNGALOW The Bungalow is a studio with a living room with a sleeping-couch for two (two beds), dining table, TV, fridge, micro-wave coffee machine and air conditioning. It also has a bathroom (with shower). There’s also a balcony facing the river, with the same beautiful views of the Douro river. OUTSIDE KITCHEN AND PORCH The outside kitchen is equipped with a stove, grill, 2 dining tables, fridge, micro-wave, coffee machine (espresso), dishwasher and washing machine. The wooden porch is an open space, with top class views to the Douro river and its margins. It is the perfect spot for parties and family/friends gatherings, due to its wide dimension and location. OUTSIDE AREA Along the property you may find a swimming pool, two romantic and relaxing corners and water pools and mines, with golden fish and water flowers. The whole property has several discrete lighting points. There is a big variety of flowers, plants and trees, including fruit trees (orange trees, tangerine trees, apple trees and pear trees) cedars, cypresses, olive trees and cork trees. All these flowers and trees create a spectacular colorful scene during Spring and Summertime. Airport transfer can be organised upon request. Alternative ways to reach the property: By car - (from Oporto) take A4 towards Vila Real/Valongo/Ermesinde – take exit 14 to merge with A11 towards N211/Felgueiras/A7/Guimarães/Marco de Canaveses – take exit 16 to N211 towards Vila Meã/Marco de Canaveses – follow the signs to Marco de Canaveses, Baião, Gôve, Ancede and, finally, Mosteirô. _ By train - at Campanhã Station (Oporto) take the Douro line regional train and step off at Mosteirô’s station (Ribadouro, Baião). _ By boat – heading up the Douro river, pass through the Crestuma/Lever and Carrapatelo water barriers and, finally, dock at the marina at Estalagem de Porto Antigo (GPS: (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) ’’ N / 8º 04’ 47’’ W).
