This 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment in Phillip is just a short work from Woden Westfield shopping centre and is around the corner from Canberra Hospital. This apartment is located on the first (not ground) floor of the building. It is naturally bright with the sun pouring into the large windows in the living room and bedroom. This complex is quite large so please follow the instructions when checking in for ease of access! BEDROOM: Your bedroom has a queen-sized bed topped with fresh linen. The linen is professionally cleaned and pressed for each stay. The bedroom has plenty of wardrobe space for your luggage. BATHROOM: I provide complimentary towels, toilet paper, shampoo and body wash. There is a laundry with a washing machine and dryer in the bathroom. KITCHEN: You can use the kitchen for all of your dining-in needs. It comes equipped with: - fridge/freezer - stovetop/oven - microwave - crockery, utensils and cutlery We stock a simple selection of food for breakfast such as muesli, milk, coffee and tea. Guests will need to purchase food items for longer stays. LIVING/DINING ROOM: The open plan living, dining and kitchen mean you can enjoy your favourite show while cooking or dining. There is plenty of seating for you to relax during your stay. The living area features a comfortable couch and a 40" Smart full HD LED TV with Netflix included for free. BALCONY AREA: There is a cute outdoor setting for you to enjoy if the weather suits. It's a great spot to soak up the sun. COMMON AREA: Due to the pandemic, common areas may be closed without prior notice. Please refer to the updated guidelines and announcements in the premises at the time of your arrival. There is a key-safe for self check-in. Only 1 guest key set is provided. Please take care not to lose the keys as their replacement will incur a fee. I can also provide you with any tips on the best places to go for food or just to have fun! Phillip is within walking distance to many Government department buildings (Health, DVA, Social Services, Aviation Safety Authority, IP Australia to name a few). With only a short walk to Woden shopping centre/bus interchange you are near everything you'll need! Close by to bus stops that will take you to the City (16 min)/Barton (24 min) so you'll have no trouble getting around without a car. For anything further, one of Canberra's major bus interchanges is also very close by. Any violation of our no-party rule will result in a $2000 non-negotiable penalty, in addition to any damages. Starting 15 June 2021, the Launceston Street bus layover and ancillary roadworks will commence until November 2021. This includes roadworks in Bowes/Launceston Streets and Callam/Launceston Streets. Majority of the works will be undertaken during standard working hours: M-Sat 6AM to 6PM. Some out of hours work will be done as well: M-F 11PM - 5AM, Sat 12AM - 5AM. We expect these works will generate noise typical of construction site, but contractors have advised they will endeavor to minimize noise impacts where possible.
