Casa degli Uccelli

Lots of windows look out over rolling countryside. We have a wide terrace, wood-burning pizza oven and plenty of olive trees. This year we installed a 4m x 12m swimming pool which has great views. We are an hour from Ancona airport (Ryan Air) and 3 hours from Rome or Bologna. Being a modern house it is suffused with lots of light. Why Casa degli Uccelli? We have lots of trees and are surrounded by organic farmland so the birds sing a lot! All rooms have great views. The main living area is interconnected with a kitchen, TV and reading room leading out on to the terrace. Each bedroom has a dual aspect. Apart from the attic and a cupboard on the ground floor the house is all open to you to use We are always happy to take a call if you need help or advice The village has two bars, a small but very good supermarket, a butcher, bank, post office and radio station! There is a wonderful hardware store run by the delightful Massimo and a pharmacy. There are a few local restaurants and our favourite, Del Arco is 20 minutes away in Magliano di Tenna You will need a car but there is ample parking. The road to the house is what the italians call a white road, not with tarmac but fine gravel The floors are poured concrete and the walls bare plaster. The beds are all modern and have new mattresses.
