Relax in this peaceful woodland location.Families,couples & workers are all very welcome. We live in a converted loft so share a front door but the main house is entirely for our guests to enjoy. We are close to the many bars & restaurants Leighton Buzzard has to (Website hidden by Airbnb) Grand Union canal with its old Globe Inn is also in walking distance.Many historic attractions nearby, including Bletchley Park WW2 code breaking centre, Ascot House,Whipsnade zoo,Woburn Abbey, Safari park & golf courses. Bird Song is a large family home with a unique style & character. To the front the property is approached by a 150 yard gravel drive, with space for 5 cars, lined with a small orchard, many fruit trees, glorious oaks, camellia and hydrangea. The rear of the property allows private access to mature Knolls Wood. Woodland views are enjoyed from inside the house by a large tastefully designed conservatory bringing the outside inside. The house has five bedrooms. All are available to guests. The downstairs area is large open plan and could comfortably fit 2-9 house guests.Large private gardens with a tree house& trampoline & pizza oven. Guests have access to all elements of the house including kitchen, garden and their own private rooms. We would like all our guests to feel they are at home away from home. We offer a continental breakfast, including fresh fruit ,cereals , yoghurt and a selection of breads and pastries. We have a travel cot & high chair. We also have various board games and childrens toys. I have always felt privileged to live at Birdsong. We have deer, foxes, squirrels, owls and badgers,woodpeckers, fruit bats and many song birds. Our gardens are surrounded by beautiful mature trees and it is a short walk to Rushmere and stockgrove country parks .We have our own gated entrance to the Knolls Woods just a stroll down the garden .Trampoline & treehouse provide fun for both children & adults still young at heart.During the winter months be cosy in front of the log burning fire.Relax and unwind. One of the great advantages of Leighton Buzzard are the fast none stopping trains to London! We are 3 miles from Leighton Buzzard Railway station. We would be happy to collect and take where possible. As an alternative taxis can be arranged. Trains typically take 35 minutes into London. We have space for 5 cars with free parking. We also have cycles which can be borrowed. The nearest Airport is Luton about 25 minutes away. Stanstead is further, about 1hr Heathrow 1hr 30mins and Gatwick 2hrs. We would be happy to negotiate reasonable costs for transportation when we are available. We are within a short walk of Leighton Buzzard Golf Club. Excellent food & excellent golf. We are on the doorstep of the 'Greensand Ridge Walk' This a premier footpath through the historic Bedfordshire landscape which takes walkers or cyclists to Woburn Park and Abbey. The Abbey houses perhaps the greatest Canaletto exhibition in England amongst many other wonderful treasures. The famous safari park & one of the top 5 golf courses in England can also be found close by. The Grand Union Canal is within walking distance of the property. Whipsnade zoo, several National Trust properties & Silverstone for Formula 1 Race Track. Bletchley Park the World War ll secret code and cypher centre is only a few miles away.
