Originally functioning as house of village family, Omah Selaras construction was brought in to the heart of Yogyakarta. With slight remodelling, guests would have first hand experience living in authentic Limasan-style house, which is rarely seen and built nowadays without being clumsy as it’s furnished with modern equipment. The lodging consists of two air-conditioned bedrooms fits for 4 adults. Additional beds are provided so in total Omah Selaras is available for 6 adults. Yet please be advised that additional beds need in advance notification. Its open air kitchen and dining room is equipped with modern appliances where you can cook and enjoy eating at the same time with view of vibrant colorful wall. Connected to the dining room, the living room is a space with traditional touch where guests can lay back entertained by TV cable connection and fast wifi connection. Sitting in the spacious terrace, guests may enjoy lush tropical garden and large Koi fish pond. Each bathroom in Omah Selaras is set up with cold and hot shower. Omah Selaras is entirely guests’ while their staying so we leave it private for our beloved guests. Key will be provided in the designated place accessible by guests. Don’t worry of being missing out as staying in Omah Selaras means guests are close to the famous Bakmi Jowo Mbah Gito, Lulu Lutfi Labibi’s workshop, authentic chocolate maker Cokelat Monggo, Yogyatorium DAGADU and Silver Craft and Jewelry Center in Kota Gede. Not to mention a supermarket and convenience stores around where guest can buy daily supply and groceries as well as restaurants and humble food stall along the adjoining streets. Omah Selaras is tucked in kampung in the heart of the city whose access to main attractions is only within minutes. It takes only 3 minutes to Silver crafts center in Kota Gede, 4 minutes to Gembira Loka Zoo, 15 minutes to Sultan Palace, 20 minutes to Malioboro , 30 minutes to Imogiri Royal Cemetery, 20 minutes to Jogja Bay and 15 minutes to the airport. The nearest public transportation shelter is only five minutes away by walking. As Omah Selaras is located in typical kampung of Yogyakarta, please be advised that you will hear adzan (praying calling) five times a day. Respecting the surrounding neighborhood, guests are supposed to manage an acceptable level of noise especially after 9 PM. Guests are also expected to live up to the corresponding ethics and norms.
