The Full Stop, or “Dot” as we like to call her is a lovingly restored, mid century home in the heart of Woodend, a very desirable Ipswich suburb. We have a passion for providing quality, memorable housing for visitors to the area. We want to present a home that reflects the character of Ipswich and allows the guests to experience being a local. Comfortable, spotless new furnishing some mid-century modern pieces to compliment Dot's vintage, and every convenience you will need she will "wow" you. All bedding arrangements, amenities and facilities are listed accurately. If you are in any doubt as to the suitability of the property for your stay please don’t hesitate to contact us with your specific requirements to ensure your needs are catered for. Your booking will secure the use of the entire property. Designed for use by your family, colleagues and even your pets if required. The home is completely set up to walk in, put your bags down and find your favourite space. Dot's back yard is securely fenced and is well maintained for your enjoyment. Check in and out times are flexible with the only limitation being other bookings. We want to allow full enjoyment without making appointments for check in or enforce the check out morning scramble if possible. This home should be relaxing, welcoming and it will be all yours during your stay. We have offered our house to guests for their sole use. We won't meed you in person, rather we give you your privacy, but we do that with the full intention of being at our guest's disposal before, during and after their stay via usual communication means. We hope you’ll feel like part of the family and approach us for any local knowledge, special requirements or queries regarding your stay. Dot is in a typical suburban street in Wooded. Surrounded by owner occupiers and an active community we hope you’ll find it easy to relax in your own sanctuary while the world carries on around you. Woodend is within walking distance of the heart of Ipswich. There are also busses and trains not far from the house for avoiding commuting traffic if visiting Brisbane City or the Gold Coast. A single car garage allows secure storage of your car for self travel around Ipswich. On street parking is also free and commonly done in the street. (Please don't park on the front grass) Dot is perched in the middle of a sloped block. There are stairs to the front of the door and the back of the house is at ground level. Access to the house might be limited for some guests with walking difficulties. There is a concrete pathway to the back door suitable for wheelchairs with assistance. Access via the back door leads to two internal stairs for entry to the main house via the laundry. This is an alternative to walking up the front stairs. The front door can be locked with a key and handle is high to prevent small children exiting to the front stairs or road. The back yard is fenced and access through the side gate is a child proof latch. Supervision should remain high initially.
