Cheap room for two

We offer an affordable and simple room for one or two persons without unnecessary luxury. A compulsory guest tax is included in the price. In return, our guests can use all public transport (bus, train, tram) in the region of North West Switzerland free and unrestricted. This includes travel to and from the Euro Airport Basel. The room with TV located on the second floor is furnished with two single beds. Toilet and shower are on the same floor and may need to be shared. (if the other room is occupied at the same time) This also applies to the small kitchenette (cooking facility) with refrigerator, microwave and toaster. (We do not serve breakfast.) We offer secure WIFI and parking in front of the house. Bed linen, pillows, blankets, towels and so on are included in the price. Upon request, we wash and dry your private laundry for CHF 5 - per machine. Infants up to the age of 2 are free, except for the cradle that we will provide and charge with CHF 5. - per night. Shopping for edibles, ATM, pharmacy, and more, are within 5 to 10 minutes by car. The next bakery can be reached in 5 minutes by car. The train station is only a 3 minute walk. It is about 40 minutes to Basel using public transport and approximately half that time by car. Most destinations in Switzerland (Bern, Interlaken, Lucerne, Zurich, etc.) can be reached within a day including the travel there and back. We live in the valley of Waldenburg, a rural area surrounded by hills that offer numerous walking and hiking trails. Smoking is strictly prohibited in our house, but there is a bench in front of the house. For hygiene reasons we don’t accommodate dogs nor cats. We offer fast wireless internet and cable tv. You have access to a small kitchen, with a refrigerator per room, microwave, small oven, stove with pans, dishes and a dining table in the stairwell. We want to get to know our guests better. We live in the same house two floors below. We look forward to interesting conversations with our guests. In the Valley of Waldburg with its green hills and varied hiking possibilities you are in a rural atmosphere. The next farm is only 300 meters away from our house.
