Our cosy, country cottage is a great place to relax and unwind. It is not a 5 star hotel. It has character and charm, squeeky floor boards, and because it's 'country' there is wildlife about, and all that comes with country living. It is best described as 'rustic'. But it is clean, the beds are comfortable, and the ambience ' (Website hidden by Airbnb) comfortably sleeps up to 7 guests so the whole family can spread out and feel at home. Take in the views from the front verandah and breathe in the country air. Our 3 bedroom, 2 storey timber cottage, is set high on a hill on 20 acres.The views are amazing! The house sleeps 7 and has 2 bathrooms. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a laundry as well. It's private and peaceful with lots of wildlife- wallabies and wild deer- at your doorstep, but still under 10 minutes to the centre of town. You can enjoy the solitude, relax on the front verandah enjoying the view or snuggle in front of the fire with a good book (plenty provided) on those cooler Toowoomba days. The local shooping centre is 5 minutes drive and several country pubs and boutique wineries within an easy drivable distance. If you're feeling more energetic, Eustondale Golf Course is a couple of minutes by car (it can be seen from the house) for a pleasant 9 holes. The property is located about a kilometre from the Showgrounds & a world class bike track. Clifford Park Racecourse is 5 minutes away if you enjoy a flutter on the horses. The entire house is yours to enjoy. One downstairs room is locked off to store cleaners needs. This room (includes 1 queen bed) can be made available to larger groups on request for a small extra cost. Key collection will be arranged in advance. This is a very rural neighborhood with all large acreage lots. Mostly horses and cows on properties in the area.The house is situated on a dirt section of the road. Not much passing traffic. There is no nearby public transport. The airport is approx 10 - 15 mins drive away. The city centre is under 10 mins by car.
