Welcome! Large, sunny family home with charming indoor-outdoor living. Situated in Fendalton - four kilometres from the airport and from the city centre, and on the public transport line. You’ll enjoy your own spacious sunny Queen room, and separate , modern bathroom. An extra room (2 singles) is also available. Wifi available. Supermarket, restaurants, University and a shopping mall close by. Parking is available on the street. Continental breakfast can be provided at $10.00 pp. This spacious home has tasteful, modern decor and a beautiful, sunny courtyard and gardens for you to enjoy! The large bedroom has one Queen bed. An additional room is available with two single beds (for an additional cost of $80 for the room). Guests will enjoy a separate modern bathroom including a bath; and a separate lavatory. This is shared occasionally with our daughter when she’s living at home. . The lounge is available most of the time to sit in and have a coffee and relax. You can also play the piano! You can happily use and enjoy the garden which is charming and has plenty of seating for you to take a cuppa outside and sit and read in the sun. - Guests may use the spa in the courtyard (during winter months) - Free, unlimited wifi. - Desk in the room + wardrobe - As I use the kitchen for my work and kitchen is part of our living room, it is not available for guests to cook their dinner - however, ready made and easy meals may be heated. There are excellent food options nearby - Fridge, toaster and microwave available. - We supply tea, coffee and drinking chocolate. - Continental breakfast available at $10.00pp. Bathroom includes a bath and separate lavatory. Sheets and towels provided. Use of a washing machine is available, around the household needs. Flexible check in/out time. We’re keen travellers and happy to give advice on all things we know about Christchurch and other areas of New Zealand. Equally, we’re happy letting you enjoy your time alone here. Fiona works from home, and is in and out throughout the day. Always available via cell phone should guests wish to make contact. We live on a safe, quiet street, and at a rear section. Our neighbourhood is very attractive - there are lovely gardens and walkways nearby, and are more than happy if you’d like to take our dog for a walk! Good restaurants and shopping nearby. 8 minute drive (4km) from the CBD. 8 minute drive (4km) from the Airport. Jellie Park indoor / outdoor swimming pool and gym is a 1km walk. New World Supermarket is one block away. Westfield Riccarton - 5minute drive and on the bus route. Beautiful gardens at Mona Vale is a lovely walk, and the Saturday market at Riccarton Bush is always worth a look (close by) Airport and City bus is 500m walk (one block) We have a very friendly Bearded Collie dog called Margot. She loves being patted but has a rug in the corner and sleeps outside at night - she’ll love any attention and happy if you walk her!
