Relaxing peaceful nights sleep in the Haute Vienne

Hello to old friends and new guests. I am looking forward to welcoming you to my home from 7th May, pandemic permitting. I have two rooms with shared shower room, towels, shampoo and shower gel. One room has a double and single bed. The second room has a double bed. Refreshments and hairdryers in the rooms. Dogs and Children welcome. The area I live in is very quiet offering a peaceful night's sleep after your journey. Dinner is available with notice and time to cook fresh food. Towels, shampoos, hairdryers. My home is relaxed, eat when you want and sleep when you want. Use as a base for house hunting (mine is for sale), visiting friends, sightseeing, walking, cycling, fishing. Or just to relax after a long journey Access to the two bedrooms is through the kitchen and upstairs. Tea and Coffee available in the rooms, along with towels, shampoo etc and hairdryers. I am always available for a chat or to help with anything you might need. My kitchen is not available to cook meals but I am happy for you to reheat anything. I live out in the countryside, not far from Bars/Restaurants in either Lussac les Eglises, or La Dorat a Medieval Village. Lots of walks. The area has a mixture of both French and English people all very helpful and friendly. Its very quiet and an open space around my house, Just keep an eye out if children are with you, the neighbours' dogs are not too friendly. Please keep Pets on a lead. While walking you might catch site of some wild life. There is fishing in the vicinity, but best ask at the Tourist Office in Le Dorat. A guide book will be available with ideas of where and what to see. Lakes nearby for fishing, swimming, picnicking, no real crowds either. Its just so peaceful for anyone wanting to unwind. A friend of mine did complain about how quiet it was at night and that the Owl kept her awake for a couple of nights but she soon slept the clock round. Your own transport is very necessary, be it biking, cycling or car. There is no public transport, so you must be independent. As I say loads of walks, and three large lakes each with a beach, one just under an hour away has many water sports facilities. I can provide a picnic. Lots of Chateaux to see. The tourist office in La Dorat will give you lots of ideas of places to see, but check my guide book out first. A small breakfast free of charge, consisting of Croissant, juice, will be outside your bedroom door in the morning. Should you require a full continental breakfast the menu is in your room and will be provided in the dining area downstairs.
