The deceptively spacious Dingle has panoramic views over Freshwater East Bay. If you can drag yourself away from the tranquillity of the deck, feet up, gin and tonic in hand, you are minutes away from the beautiful sandy beach accessed by a path from the bottom of your garden. Fall asleep to the sound of the waves, wake up to amazing sunsets over the ocean. With the village Inn at the top of the hill, the beach at the bottom and stunning coastal walks, leave the car on the drive for the week! Secluded, with woodland or Bay views, The Dingle sits on he Dunes within the Pembrokeshire National Parkland, the only Coastal National Park in the UK. Revisited by extended families year on year, the back to nature feel is the perfect tonic for those looking to escape and relax with family or friends. Birdsong, waves, clinking wine glasses and laughter create the perfect symphony! The bedroom layout lends itself to a large extended family or groups of friends. There is a downstairs en-suite room with a kingsize and a single bed, perfect for grandparents or a new family. Upstairs the Master bedroom with ensuite shower room stuns with the views from its balcony. The sunrises across the entire Bay are exquisite. A further large room with a kingsize and single bed with woodland views, a double room, a twin and a bunk bed room, complete the bedroom set up upstairs. There is also a shower room with sea views. There is a double sofa bed in the sitting room area - this provides additional sleeping space to the 14 people. (There may be a snorer in the family!) The large kitchen with a range cooker, dishwasher, large fridge freezer etc, also houses a snug area with sofa and armchairs. This is great for a drink and a chat to the chef, a film for the children or a quiet space. Prepare to be wowed by the Sitting Room / Diner which has jaw dropping views from the large windows and French Doors and the wrap around Deck. Enjoy family meals and board games at the large dining table or outside on the patio at the table or on the outdoor sofa. There is a utility room underneath the deck area with washing machine, tumble dryer and a drinks fridge. Its a perfect area for hanging up the wetsuits and storing bikes, kayaks etc. The patio area is large enough and has the electrics for hot tub hire! Greg and Anna will greet you where possible on arrival and will be available throughout your stay if needed. They can advise on the best places to visit, walk and dine in the area - they even own The Dial Inn in Lamphey - just down the road! Coast, castles, adventure, islands, puffins....where do we start? Pembrokeshire boasts stunning scenery, with some of the best being outside your door! You really don't have to get back into the car for the week with the safe and sandy beach at the bottom of the hill - with a path from your garden. Take a left along the coastpath and enjoy a dip in Swanlake Bay en route to lunch in the pub or castle at Manorbier. Turn right and you reach Stackpole Quay, having passed Greenala, the iron age fort. Enjoy a coffee and crab sandwich at The Boathouse tearooms, then explore the beautiful National Trust Stackpole Estate, incorporating the world famous beaches of Barafundle and Broad Haven South. Wander back through the Lily Ponds, fortify yourself with a cream tea before heading back to Freshwater East - what a day! Pop up the hill to Freshwater Inn for supper, or venture into Lamphey - a couple of miles up the road - to The Dial Inn. For the historical buffs, this is the Home of The Tudors, the incredible Pembroke Castle the birthplace of Henry V11. Equally stunning is Carew Castle, taken in on a day out along the River Cleddau. Boat trips exploring islands, seal and puffin watching, coasteering, kayaking, jet skiing, coast path and hill walking, there is a wealth of adventure awaiting. For the youngsters, once sandcastles, rockpools and waves have been explored, there are lots of days out in the Tenby area. Folly Farm, Manor House Wildlife Park, Oakwood Theme Park and Heatherton Activity Centre are our family favourites. You will definitely be spoiled for choice!
