Stunning home in the heart of a Devon village

Our contemporary family home is a 2 bedroom semi-detached modern cottage located right in the heart of a quaint South Devon village. A private south facing garden with an outdoor kitchen, pizza oven, ceramic bbq egg and dining facilities allow for a relaxed al-fresco dining experience. Walking access to incredible woodland, farmland and rivers. A short car drive to the beaches and Kingsbridge the local town. Mia our cat will also make sure your check-in and stay run smoothly. NOTE: The house will be decorated with a Tree and decorations for the Christmas and New Year bookings. Broadband The house has superfast broadband with an average of 70mbs download and 16mbs upload. Downstairs The downstairs is open plan with 2 sofas and a log burner, 48” 4K TV, Sonos sound system, Netflix Disney+ and Alexa operated lighting. The newly fitted contemporary kitchen is well equipped for all your cooking needs. Including a blender, toaster, kettle and slow cooker. To the rear of the property is the utility room with a washing machine and downstairs toilet. Upstairs Upstairs there's two bedrooms and a bathroom with a bath shower. The master bedroom is extremely tranquil and has a kingsize bed with a super comfy memory foam 'Emma' mattress. The second bedroom has a single day bed that opens out into a kingsize bed and views over Loddiswell and the surrounding countryside. Outdoors The south-facing private garden has been finished to a high standard, with outdoor dining and seating as well as a kitchen area with a ceramic bbq and pizza oven. Parking There's private parking for 2-3 cars directly at the front of the property. Mia the cat She’s a friendly cat that keeps herself to herself and doesn’t mind being kept contained in the utility room which has access to her cat flap and food. Guests can access all parts of our home except the office which we keep locked. There's a number of cupboards around the house that will also be locked as well as the attic. We leave plenty of storage for clothes/food etc though. We also keep our shed locked in the garden. We tend to only let our house whilst we are away and so we'll be away for the duration of your stay. We'll be contactable via Air Bnb, email or Telephone Loddiswell is a quiet little village with a local shop and pub a stone's throw away. Kingsbridge is the nearest town and only an 8-minute drive. There's a couple of supermarkets and lots of options for food and drinks. A car is the best form of transport around South Devon. That said, there’s a bus route to Kingsbridge with a stop only 100m from the front door. Once in Kingsbridge there’s the Salcombe ferry which runs trips to and from. Our house is only suitable for cat-friendly people, as our cat will be in the property whilst you stay. Please note, Mia our cat enjoys getting up to usual cat misdemeanours. She enjoys the outdoors and occasionally kindly bring home gifts (rarely live). She may also have the odd hair ball! Though this type of activity is infrequent we would not want you to arrive at the house unaware of this. This is our family home so there will be our belongings and odd food bits in the house. Cleaning fee includes fresh linen and towels.
