Stately old wooden farmhouses are scattered all over the valleys, the hills, hang on the hillside, hide in the forests, look majestically from the top of the hills down into the valley, where farmers got hold of the scarce flat land. THAT'S EMMENTAL We cultivate land. Furthermore, we keep deer, which you can observe directly from your balcony and feed if you like. Our farm is located in a calm environment with a stunning panorama. The rooms for rent are located on the first floor of the family house. Your apartment has a separate entrance and its own bathroom and kitchen. It is our pleasure to advise you on possible excursion destinations and spoil you with a nutritious breakfast included in the price, which consists mainly of regional and home-made products. Close-by you find beautiful excursions such as the lookout tower of Röthenbach which gives you a view over the Emmental. Shops such as a grocery store with drugstore a bakery and a butcher are located in Eggiwil 5km away. A good access road is leading to our farm without through traffic. Parking is provided free of charge. You may as well arrive with public transport and we will pick you up at the bus station. We are happy to offer you a rich breakfast with regional products at the price of CHF 10.- per person on request.
